Paul Michael Woolford has been working tirelessly for over 20 years both in DJ booths globally, and in a myriad of recording studios, to redefine and reinvent all shapes of dance music. He has has applied his touch to over 200 records, including the work of Sam Smith, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Lana Del Rey, Disclosure, Wiley, Jamie XX, London Grammar, Underworld, Krystal Klear & Morgan Geist, as well as influencing flocks of other producers to drop their inhibitions and embrace bolder sounds. Woolford has recorded 5 Essential Mixes for BBC Radio 1, released 3 mix compilations including most recently FabricLive91: Special Request which was a Recommended release by Resident Advisor. As a DJ he tours relentlessly and held down a 9 year residency at Space on Sundays in Ibiza, as well as a 7 year hometown residency at Back To Basics in Leeds, in addition to playing pretty much every respected serious venue of note globally. Thomas Wesley Pentz (born November 10, 1978), known professionally as Diplo, is an American DJ, songwriter, and record producer based in Los Angeles, California. He is the co-creator and lead member of the electronic dancehall music project Major Lazer, a member of the supergroup LSD with Sia and Labrinth, a member of electronic duo Jack Ü with producer and DJ Skrillex, and a member of Silk City with Mark Ronson. He founded and manages record company Mad Decent, as well as co-founding the non-profit organization Heaps Decent. Among other jobs, he has worked as an English teacher in Japan and a school teacher in Philadelphia. His 2013 EP, Revolution, debuted at number 68 on the US Billboard 200. A couple of years after he broke into the mainstream with 2009’s So Far Gone, Drake was browsing art in Los Angeles when a piece caught his eye: a big neon sign that read, “LESS DRAKE, MORE TUPAC.” For a minute, he felt angry, embarrassed—he wanted to walk up and rip the sign off the wall. Born Aubrey Drake Graham in Toronto in 1986, Drake became—like Tupac—something of a generational voice, a prism for his pop-cultural moment. Was he an R&B singer who rapped or a rapper who sang? Was he really that sad, or just doing a bit? And if it wasn’t a bit, how could this guy—talented, intuitive, hardworking—really be so down?

 

From minute one, there was something a little different about him: He could be confessional, vulnerable, but also incredibly coarse; he could make an earnest commitment one minute (“Take Care”) and be drunk-dialing the next (“Marvins Room”); he could convince you he was an underdog from his perch on top of the world (“Started from the Bottom”). British DJ and producer Joel Corry's bright, bass-heavy house tracks are chiefly inspired by 1990s-2000s U.K. garage and R&B, mixing upbeat rhythms with yearning sentiments. Following several singles released throughout the second half of the 2010s, he hit big in 2019 with a cover of Monsta Boy's "Sorry."

 

Corry grew up during the height of the U.K. garage explosion, and started to DJ when he was 13. Professionally active as the owner of a personal training business as well as a gym and leisurewear company, he first caught the public's eye when he starred in the reality show Geordie Shore. Corry released his first two dance singles, "Back Again" and "Light It Up," in 2015. He began hosting a specialty show on KISS FM in 2017, and holds down summer residencies in Ibiza, Zante, Ayia Napa, and several other clubbing hot spots. In 2019, he released a cover of Monsta Boy's 2000 U.K. garage hit "Sorry (I Didn't Know)," retitled "Sorry" and featuring vocalist Hayley May.
