The third song to be eliminated is Atomic Kitten's cover of the Paragons hit 'The Tide Is High'. 21 years after becoming a transatlantic number one for Blondie in 1981, Atomic Kitten took the song back to the top of the charts in September 2002 - entering at the summit and in turn knocking Blazin' Squad off the top spot. The song became the girl group's third and last number one single. I used to love it at the time but in retrospect it is a bit of a pointless cover (especially when you hear the Blondie version which is imo far better).

Quite like that song! I think what helps is that it's not a straight cover like Geri or Leona and has the Get The Feeling part.
