Thursday WTF

Really annoyed. Makes no difference to release on a Friday. Absolutely none.

They do it with all there acts for some reason.

Kylie would go top 10 on iTunes by Friday early morning anyway lol ...

She will have some slot on Thursday that maybe she can't get on Friday but I just get frustrated. I shouldnt but I should lol.

Looking forward to this but it’s strange this is coming out but they haven’t even released the 7 inch of say something yet.

Guys, you Will eat this.

Its 2000 All over again with her releasiing another spinning around

Say something vinyl is being released on album release day to boost its chances of a top 75 hit or even close to top 40 position if a remix bundle is released same week.

Magic who knows. The strategy of a Thursday release annoys me but they must have a reason to give Kylie Disco and Magic more coverage than it would get on a Friday.

Who else is releasing this Friday

Yes. I predict it will do better than Say Something.

However is it a stand alone single or just another album track released of the digital itunes albums? I am guessing the latter.

Didn't Say Something get some good iTunes sales because people pre-ordered r album?

Let's hope BMG get this on more streaming sites... I guess we get a lyric video on Friday?

I cant see this doing much better on streaming that say something, at best it will do the same unless it surprises us and can become a bigger hit which i would be more than happy to see happening.

We need to stop banging on about a singles chart positions, it’s pretty obvious that due to the Thursday releases that they are all about getting that full day exposure and not chasing something they know they won’t get.

This is going to be the way forward, get used to it, kylies career is going to be about albums and tours. Singles are just used to promote albums, that’s it. Single positions are irrelevant, once people start accepting this the better.

Deal wit it 😂

I understand the point and know her days of success in the singles are over, but, if she released say something on the friday she would have had a top 75 by now, the thursday sales just dont bring the same benefits. The label obviously want kylies singles to make the chart or they wouldnt be releasing physicals, bundles, remixes etc.
But the remixes aren’t for sales, it’s all just for prolonged album exposure and do fans really care if it’s low top 75 ? Really ? I would rather it didn’t chart than show permanently are a low position. 41 or 73, it’s still all shit and pointless 😂

But if a song got top 40 then it would be played on potentially more radio stations and attract more album sales from casuals too.

It's not pointless, they do want singles doing well to of course promote the album. Its just frustration not going to lose sleep about it. Everyone keeps sayit is impossible to get a top 40 hit, but it really isn't.

She doesn't need to stand out from the Friday releases that is a poor excuse, the low iTunes sales would mean she will always go top 10 on iTunes on Thursday or Friday and will always get publicity.

Let's hope streaming is better for Magic and so the aitunes sales are not as necessary
