this is so fantastic... a number #1 as a third single! No rappers.... i mean i know theres a huge campaign to get this to #1 but it would be great for labels going forward to push post-album singles.

Coming for their 5th number one (hopefully) 10 years after their first.. I mean how many pop groups have done that?

Take That have 21 years between their first and last #1 singles. They must be leading the field for girl groups though?

I really hope this inspires the girls to have better music videos going forward. There’s no way Sweet Melody would’ve taken off like it did without that video! they’ve always been lacklustre when it comes to videos, I legit can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a video of theirs so much. more of this please!!

Even without the buying spree it would have been 1,2 or 3 (I think from my working out would have been 2)

Which is still INSANE!

Getting it to number 1 was amazing but it was doing amazingly regardless.

Genuinely think they'll stay top 2 next week as ED/Whoopty have fallen on Amazon.

The Little Mix fan twitters really should do one last push for pure sales to make sure the #1 is as secure as possible. Another big iTunes boost before the day ends would be iconic. Come through Shady Mixer Facts.

Yeah. I think what softens this campaigns blow a bit is that it looks like it was going to get a new peak regardless. The fanbase were just capitalising on the low sales and securing another number 1 hit for them!

I'm still so nervous for tomorrow for some reason? Lmao. I just think, I won't rest until it's been officially confirmed or something aha. Knowing Little Mix's luck, Adele will release in like 3 hours and get record sales or something :')

I just want to see 'Happiness' released (aka their best song ever)

Yesssssss :w00t:

Oh great! I actually thought their lead would have shrunk today so great to see them secure that #1 even more
Its looking really safe now, im really happy they are getting another number 1 and i think sweet melody def deserves it as for me its their best single in ages.
I didn't even realise they're still #1 on iTunes with all versions combined. :)

The answer is Dark Mix / Choreo Mix :kink:

I hope if they make Happiness a single they invest properly in the video, especially being their visual debut as a trio. It has a sort of dark beat as well so it’d really fit a night video with rain etc. They could do some cute choreo too. I hope they never abandon choreo again but I expect it to be the opposite.

I love that idea, I'd love 'Happiness' to be a dark video with bursts of light and colour. The 'dancing alone in the dark shadows all over me.' and 'you can't rain on my happiness' fit your night with rain theme. Something along the lines of the 'Rain On Me' video basically. :kink:

But as you said, I feel like it's going to be a while until we get another choreo video.
