So I'm looking at the sales breakdown, and BUS managed it's top 10 from iTunes sales mostly, and on today's comparison was 2k ahead in terms of iTunes/digital download sales. It's kind of a shame they released the grats ahead of this as if they had not it probably would have picked up at least 1k more in pure sales due to hype. But the good thing is that this is still ahead of BUS' overall sales from organic video views/streams and is showing up to be a lot less frontloaded.

I’m shocked that SM has sold 2k less iTunes/downloads than BUS.

 

I would have thought it would of sold way more with the PS1 remix getting up to #26 and having a nearly 50% lead over James Arthur who was #1 before all 3 of the new releases.

 

Seems so strange as I remember BUS had started to fall to #5/6 at this point so I’m guessing iTunes sales have just totally crashed in the last couple of weeks?

BUS had like a 50/60% lead on iTunes the first day though so sold a lot in the first day.

This will probably peak on Album release week or the week after anyways so the top 10 debut is just a bonus imo.

It’s almost certainly going to go back to #1 on iTunesz. They gained while #1 and #3 decreased.

Thats the banner effect i think! It was 16 but since the banner its went up 3 spots! Amazing.

When you go to charts then 'Songs' that chart is the 'LIVE' chart which is updated hourly..

I’m not sure of the top 5 but i know Woman Like Me got around 22.8M and i assume SOTME got a good debut week. I hope i can find the list as Sweet Melody might just be one of their highest week one debuts! :o

Yeah it is, it's fine - the songs are probably just very close together. It'll hopefully have some proper Apple promo at midnight and have a good climb.

Some of Apple Music updated (including no banners anymore?) but Sweet Melody is on the front of Hot Songs!!!

I think the update was premature as they’ve put Sam Smith under “new releases” odd that they’d remove the banners? But figures as they just gave Little Mix theirs 😭

 

Also they’re the first song on “today’s hits” on iTunes. Not sure if that’s news but I’ve just noticed it. The hot songs addition is very good as well. Hoping we get a nice update tomorrow.
