I don't think the CIN song will garner a lot of streams. A lot of people tend to buy the song and not listen to it (The amount of people I knew who used to do this because they consider it their charitable contribution for the year) So I assume streaming the song once is enough in their head.

I think it'll take a lead on iTunes for a while, but I definitely don't think it'll overtake them in the official charts. Unless it pulls out a massive load of sales from somewhere..

Well if the last BBC charity single is anything to go by, it'll do huge amounts on iTunes - enough for #1

I hate to root against it but... It'll be useless if SM doesn't increase on Spotify in the weekend so let's wait and see what it does first...

It'd be great if they had discounted it as it could make up for the huge sales the CIN single will garner.

I have a feeling this is gonna peak at 2 in the long run, which I’m here for
I am not an expert on how the Kworb iTunes chart works, but the CIN single went from 1 to 9 already... does it mean there is hope?

The lead before the shows even on!

Well; it's over!

Remember it's a charity single and iTunes sales are low. It's going to be EXTREMELY front loaded and it might flop on streaming anyway.

The important thing is that Sweet Melody gains on Spotify and stays consistant on iTunes/Apple to hopefully grab the number 1 the week after or the middle of next week when the charity song plummets.

Wowza haha that gap is something else 😅

I don't think there's much chance it won't go to #1 but I think Little Mix have a chance the week after if they cement themselves in the top 4/5 of Spotify over the course of this week and discount next week.
Didn’t that BBC orchestra song have huge leads on itunes a couple weeks ago? How much did that sell?

This is true - the gap was the same as the one from today

Yes, but most sales are gonna come from tonight during the show.

It will defo get a huge boost tonight but it won't sustain it the whole week

The charity song will prob sell enough by the end of the weekend to get the number 1 though

I just realised that is due to hit ACR on the 1st of Jan, which is perfect timing as that's when the Christmas songs die off and give the old songs a reset and new lease of life.

I think the Nathan Dawe Collab will help streaming of SM a little too..

This will also have more airplay from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2. I don't even think the BBC Radio 1 track has that amount of lead before the video premiered. Radio 1/2 will push this throughout the week now and I can see it having a rather huge lead on Monday = publicity.

I still think Ariana will be ahead of Little Mix anyway.

8 on Spotify today, Billie straight to number one, this should climb through the week?
