Loved the countdown. Fever is great  I’d also agree on Come Into My World being a favourite too. I can play both Fever and IP regularly and enjoy them. IP was one what took a while to connect with me but when it did it sounded great where as Fever was like very instant.

Your Love does low-key sound a bit like Geri never thought it myself but I can hear her singing it

Love reading your ranking/reviews on these albums & discovering Kylie's many hidden gems in her back catalogue. "Impossible Princess" would also rank high in my own personal countdown. A firm top 5. This is definitely her most personal album & taking her sound to exciting new ventures with new found freedom & confidence. While at the time this struggled commercially & critically, but now its grown more appreciated.

"Too Far" - This Trip-Hop Dance track is a great album opener with some deep vocals & interesting production, this would have been my choice for the lead single, as this represents this album a whole lot better. Other great moments are "Cowboy Style" - A cracking tune with cool synth beats & single knit violins. "Did It Again" - This may be one of the more mainstream tracks on here, but has fantastic middle-eastern influences set against a rock beat throughout, a great single choice. "Breathe" - A sublime electronica track that really captures the isolated & claustrophobic tone of the song perfectly. "Say Hey" - Has great energy with its simplistic execution. "Jump" - A strikingly beautiful number with some cool haunting tones. "Limbo" - This has a relentless pace with guitars & high octane drum beats that captures the manic energy of the song. Then "Dreams" Has superb production with beautiful strings that compliment the emotion & drama of this track. Just brilliant.

Other tracks such as "Some Kind of Bliss" - This is fine with some great guitar work layered with stings & trumpets, but felt at odds with the rest of this album & didn't really work as the lead single.
"Drunk" - Not one of my faves, felt a little too out there to enjoy. "I Don't Need Anyone" - Very similar in vein to 'SKOB", but not quite as strong. "Through The Years" is decent & has a sad brooding tone throughout.

I was confident Impossible Princess would be your winner so the final result was a surprise.
"Fever" - A great choice for your WINNER, as not only is it just fantastic, but its also her most important album as this is what cemented her legacy & catapulted Kylie into the stratosphere. An icon for the ages & not bad for an artist who was 14 years into their career. All the success & rewards Kylie had during this era was well deserved & earned. The 4 singles released from this album were just perfect, definitely her most classy & polished run she's ever had.

There's many highlights on here including the sexy & cool opener "More, More, More" with its chilled out dance vibes. "Love At First Sight" - A pure joyful pop number that's effortlessly cool & classy, definitely one if not the best track on here. "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" - Icy, cool electro pop number that became a well deserved global monster hit, (not hard to see why this is her biggest hit). "Fever" - A solid catchy dance/pop number with some stellar production & this could have easily done well as a single. "Fragile" - Another strong standout with some more classy pop/dance production with some amazing vocals. "Come Into My World" - Another stellar standout with superb hypnotic production & slinky electro beats. "In Your Eyes" - A really strong track with thumping beats & an infectious chorus, (a perfect follow-up choice). "Love Affair" - This perfectly compliments the previous track with some fantastic electro/pop beats running throughout, (again this could have made for a great single). "Your Love" - A beautiful laid back classy number that often gets criminally underrated. Then there's the wonderful closer "Burning Up" a firm unexpected surprise with its acoustic guitar opening, before it erupts into a funk/pop/disco sound.

Other tracks "Give It To Me" - Definitely the weakest moment here that feels like stark contrast to its surroundings, but at least its short. "Dancefloor" - A fun poppy number that bounces along quite nicely. Also a little shout out to the amazing "Tightrope" that SHOULD have made the standard edition as it just oozes & chilled out beats.

I basically agree that IP is the album that transformed my mindset on Kylie. It was such a different album for her, and it made me appreciate her artistry with much more depth, complexity, and respect than before. Kylie takes risks in her career, and she's a chameleon not only in her lewks, but in her music too. It's too bad IP was not a hit by Kylie's standards, and the lack of success put her career in danger. Though, it seems she does love the album because she kept including IP tracks in her shows long after the album release.

My feelings on Fever are kinda at a low point currently :P I became a Kylie fan thanks to the In Your Eyes video (not Head, which I actually disliked back then), and when I bought Fever, I played it to death ofc. These days though, I really only listen to Head, IYE, and More More More. I'm not sure why the album tracks don't do much for me now -_- . Lately, it's among the Kylie albums I play the least, along with Kylie Christmas, LGTI, KM94, and Aphro. But of course, objectively there's no way of denying its global impact and incredible effect on Kylie's career.

I thought quite a bit about what my Top 3 or Top 5 would be. I think I have a Top 4 (in order of release date, NOT in ranking):

Impossible Princess

Body Language

Golden

DISCO

...and there's no hope of putting them in any order of preference whatsoever

I think at some point in the future I’ll revisit this and see if there’s any changes!

I’m actually considering listening to some albums towards the lower end of my list again.
