October 16, 20205 yr Wasn't able to fully listen this week just on in the background and loved hearing Fleetwood Mac on Radio 1, what a legendary band!
October 16, 20205 yr not for me but probably someone else would enjoy it...hence why I said something for everyone :kink: I'd quite enioy a guitar song in the top 10 for the first time in about a decade 😂 Still pissed at 1975 for releasing Too Shy in a strong week when their sales would have got them top 10 most of the subsequent weeks
October 18, 20205 yr Come on, Levitating! Get that Top 20 spot! Is Bieber yodelling in the chorus of that new song he did with Benny Blanco?
October 19, 20205 yr Crazy to see this only reached 24??? Strange to think this peaked so low for such a HUGELY well-known song, but then I guess see also 'Go Your Own Way' and 'Don't Stop'. Probably the promo back then didn't attract enough for publics to buy the singles. Glad those 3 songs was peaked inside top 10 in US Billboard Hot 100. yay Dreams <3 and charting on ACR, even more impressive Would be charting higher and may even surpass the original #24 peak had no hindered by ACR. But yeah impressive and hopefully Dreams able to reached new peak in top 20 with ACR if the Tiktok momentum continues linger.
October 19, 20205 yr ^ There's plenty of examples of old songs which weren't big hits at the time of release but became much better known later down the line... 'Summer of 69' is probably the best example of that, it only peaked at #42 but show me someone who doesn't know it!
October 19, 20205 yr It is weird though that Fleetwood Mac had big success in the singles chart both before and after the 'Rumours' era, and the album itself did extremely well, yet none of its singles charted particularly highly.
October 19, 20205 yr It does seem strange but my guess would be that most people who liked those songs back then just bought the album.
