The current Tommy Moon is leaving. Apparently he has great memories of working with screen mum Jessie Wallace, whilst I’m struggling to remember the last time they appeared in any scenes together.

Bring all the kids back tbh. The Carters need a better family dynamic

That was tense, but surely Gray has slipped up unless that camera isn't working.

It was obvious what would happen as soon as we saw them waiting for the tube. Hard to believe they killed off another of Carmel’s children and we probably won’t even see her back.

I would feel awful for Whitney but like all her relationships, I wasn’t feeling this one.

Kush was an alright character but I never really liked him the same after what happened to Shabnam.

Gray is sure to kill at least one more character before he exits which is likely to be the 2021 Christmas storyline.

I bet Whitney will get with him next lmfao, we can only hope that he kills off her next. Shona's a great actress but they just can't keep going round in circles with the character for what at this point is coming on for 10 years!!

Kinda makes a mockery of what the domestic violence stoyline did well though, instead of it really being about domestic violence, it was almost just a plot device to further Gray into being a serial killer that thy can use to off some deadweight characters in a sensationalist way. I'm sure the CCTV will miraculously not be working so that Gray won't get found out for a bit longer.

I can see them dragging it to Christmas. There doesn’t seem to be any other stories brewing for an explosive Christmas.

And has Dot gone completely mental? Sonia literally stole from a charity and then stole from the woman herself! And we never got a decent reason for her stealing from Dot.

I hadn't watched for a few weeks so I've watched so many episodes this weekend. There's been a whole lot of nothing happening eh? That was an intense episode tonight.. but Kush isn't just going to have disappeared. There'll be a mangled body down there gah.. but why do I feel like Whitney is just going to think he did a runner without her
I'm dreading whitney back in misery mood and she is sure to end up with Grey before its found out what he did. To this day killing of chantelle has made no sense they could have developed that plot further before the climax which should have been chantelle surviving and putting Gray behind bars.
I really dislike how they have turned a domestic abuse storyline into a serial killer atoryline it doea not sit right with me...
on one hand it does feel like their pantomiming Gray a little bit by making him a serial killer... but is it too far out of belief that a domestic abuser would become a serial killer in order to protect himself.

To me it senstionalizes a serious issue...

Also he didnt kill kush to protect his secret it was out of jealously no?

I saw it coming but part of me despite them being so rushed and thrown together wanted Kush and Whitney to get away and get the somewhat happy ending .

It's very much like one of those overblown Hollyoaks villains storylines for me, which are fine in a show where that works, but it feels out of place here. The abuse storyline was great when it was actually about the domestic abuse, they had to show that sadly sometimes it doesn't end with justice. But now they've kind of buried any legacy in the dust and shoehorned/blurred it into some sensationalist serial killer storyline that is just used for short-term shock factor.

I don't think it's a huge stretch for Gray to have killed Tina to protect himself, of course it's dramatic and OTT but it's a soap. But I think this with Kush pushes it over the line a bit. I know it is still part of him being abusive and having that side of his personality, as I guess they're going for him feeling towards Whitney what he felt with chantelle and being controlling to her, that's the most Whitney thing to happen

i guess thats how their going to windle this around... he's getting overprotective over Whitney and I guess she's going to be his comeuppance as there's no way Whitney's going anywhere anytime soon.

I don't think it's too much of a stretch he killed Kush - he killed Chantelle opportunistically because she was trying to leave him. Again here, he's killed Kush opportunistically to stop Whitney. He's clearly become obsessed with trying to control her and turn her into the next Chantelle.

Since the producers love piling misery on Whitney, she will no doubt become his next abuse victim and he'll probably attempt to kill her but his downfall will happen in the process.

Having said all that, it's very cliche and predictable.
