It's fab to see Kelly starting so strongly this year!!! I just had a look and last year (the chart for Sat 23rd November as obvs the Xmas invasion has started earlier this week & that chart is more in-line with this weeks positions) and Kelly was the 13th highest Xmas song at this point and this year she's 6th atm :cheeseblock:

 

I really really hope this scores a new peak this year (maybe even top 10 if it holds on?!), it really feels like its starting to become a true Xmas classic :wub:

too bad the BBC2 song is doing so badly on Spotify, they could have added to HH and that would have given them a few streams at least

hard to predict what it's gonna be, it's done 20 times more than Billie and Little Mix on iTunes x 2 days now... so if Billie and Little Mix are doing 500 copies a day,

that could easily mean 20,000 copies a day... but hard to know cos iTunes sales are at its lowest, Ariana barely did 1K during the whole week last week and

she wasn't doing half bad...

I checked a few of the Amazon Christmas playlists last night and Bieber came up straight away on shuffle and was at the top of a couple of them, so it's surprising if he hasn't shown up on the Amazon chart.

If Fairytale of New York fades into obscurity as a result, I’ll take it.

but so far, the big Spotify support for new Xmas songs is not showing,

none are top 200 despite some being in the top 20 on Christmas Hits

like Taylor or Ava Max

Ariana was the third highest streamed song on Spotify this weekend behind Wham and Mariah. But this happened last year too and she slowed as we moved into December.

Calling 'Santa Tell Me' 'new' is really stretching the definition of that word.

Was it not released within the last decade? That’s new for a Christmas song considering the weeks per year they sell.
