Some of the Christmas albums are fading away now and Disco is back in the iTunes Top 40, there are 18 Christmas albums ahead of it so should be back in the Top 20 tomorrow - Deluxe is still priced at £8.99 and standard at £6.99 so a decent enough prices to tempt a few extra downloads.

I think so too - it could be hampered by the closure of most shops in the country from tomorrow so streaming will play more of a role in the album charts but hopefully the online orders from HMV & Amazon keep it afloat! Either way it’s done incredible.

I’m not sure it will outsell Golden unless there is more promotion. Sales are going to nose dive in the New Year and impact of lockdown. Unless there is more promotion then it will struggle and may just fizzle out eventually.

I think there will be more promotion as Kylie said before, there will be more singles.

She has another year of promotion probably and that means a few more formats probably another 3 singles at least, more TV slots across the world even via video, discounting, offers, streaming sales every week even if very small.

 

BMG won't have just done a 6 week marketing plan....

 

Disco has been released 8 weeks, Golden for over 2.5 years.

‘Disco’ is listed in the HMV email that’s just been sent out to advertise their ‘Big Sale’ - could encourage a few extra sales :cheer:

Lots of CDs in sales so will be hard to tell until Mondays Midweeks.

 

Could be very little between the chart positions this week .....very little

I can see very little will separate albums placed in positions 11-40.

#21 on iTunes (#14 taking away compilations) so it’s now back at the position it was before the Christmas rush which is a good sign.

Disco might be in with a chance of going back into the top 20 again.
