Really ? Wow, I think everyone assumed it would climb.

I had a feeling it would drop. There is zilch promotion for the album. Kylie needs promotion if the album is to keep afloat.

Streaming streaming streaming.

 

Look at the Xmas albums being streamed. Xmas Carols albums , Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra etc I think I counted 9 ahead of her.

 

Then there are the sale albums. £4.99 many albums

 

Then there's the album that always get streaming such as ABBA, Fleetwood Mac, Beatles, Bob Marley, Jacko, Whitney etc and the newer well streamed albums Dua Lipa, Miley, Pop Smoke etc.

 

Not going to be much in it between many of the places. Every sale counts

 

Will probably end the week top 40. Definately in the physicals chart

 

1000+ sales ain't bad to be honest should do 1700-2000 probably end of week.

I didnt expect that drop at all if I'm honest hopefully it can make it's way back to the top 40.

I think today’s position shows as expected that streaming will be the dominant format during the closure of shops etc., no amount of price reductions alone is going to keep it afloat without streaming, also sale CDs are the last thing on peoples minds atm too.

Some of the albums ahead of it are pretty random Christmas albums boosted by streams, it’s a shame there has been so similar boost for Kylie Christmas.

That’s not technically correct. Other artists currently have active singles campaigns which is effectively promotion for their relevant albums. Due to Kylie’s age and lack of radio support, she relies heavily on promotion following post album singles to keep the sales going.

Yep been more promo than you think for some.

 

 

I'd say very little sales separate number 20 and 50.

Estimated that Disco is #33 in the years best sellers :cheer:

I think it will be close between all the album's not just 20-50

 

 

Real groove is coming at the perfect time to help the album sell again.

If it could attract 100 extra sales towards Disco it could result in Disco staying Top 40.
