So all those that bought the box set have to wait until 10th Dec? Will that hit this week's sales?

 

It seems anyone who ordered the vinyl alone from her website has received it but for orders elsewhere it will be released on December 10th, the same for Boxset orders from her website so quite a chunk of sales that won’t be included this week.

 

I’m not sure the extended version would have been a huge seller but certainly all the Kylie collectors have snapped up a copy.

Hopefully it will give it a boost - have no idea how limited the Boxset was and it sold out quickly but would be surprised if it was less than 2,000 copies.

Saw Disco Guest List CD in Morrisons supermarket this morning which is good.

Its definitely becoming harder and harder to predict where it will chart on Friday, you have existing albums like ed and abba and I'm expecting damon albarn, rod stewart, little mix, Taylor swift, ronan keating and possibly the Wanted all looking at top 10 debuts, ABBA gold,, olivia rodrigo and adele could also be top 10 contenders but hooefully kylie can take her top 10 spot.

I said it previously but this just feels like the SBIT repackage. The album should get a boost tonight though after her Jonathan Ross appearance.

I think the difference could be the shops are open so we won't know those sales until Monday..... however this will help all artists not just Kylie.

The J Ross was nice but not much Kylie promo just usual crap they ask her... the other guests where boring, except Jessie and Paul where good

 

Funny though. The CD is 10.99, CD/DVD 23.33 and Vinyl 29.17 so the total with free p and p is £63.50, isn't that cheaper than all the preorder prices on website etc....

I’m not surprised it’s struggling - apart from the standard CD it’s expensive, promo has been minimal and not helped by none of the tracks taking off, also it’s not offering much new for the GP so is really a fan only release.

What happened to the supposed 10-15k pre sales ? I guess that was a lie.

It never did anything on HMV or Amazon at all.

 

She needs to release some signed stuff or some cassettes.....

 

Fans are happier streaming pirate YouTube extended mixes than streaming the actual album lol. Plus the new songs she is plugging are way down the album on Streaming lists. Why they didn't move them to the top i don't know.

 

She has done promo and never even mentioned infinite disco lol.

 

That being said....... The midweeks will be strong this week so she may have well sold a solid total in a competitive week

 

 

Ps. It's a very competitive week! They chose this week for some reason.......

Ya I think the same so top 20 isikely the best outcome now , looks like the 10k or orders are not correct as she would be dar higher if it was unless alit have shipped yet.

I’d be surprised if it wasn’t T10 in the initial midweeks given current low sales climate but I can see why it’s not higher. The 5 disc set is quite expensive and relatively little new content.

Tge 5 disc set will only be bought by loyal fans so its appeal is limited

I’m not so sure? They didn’t react when SBIT expanded edition didn’t go Top 10? This is just a bonus to all involved - it adds sales, returns the album to the charts and rakes in the £££ due to the higher price tag of the Deluxe CD and Vinyl sets.
