Never now sees a tint little element of rock Lisa, in the verses i can identofy her voice but not in the chorus and i think that is what i found hard with lisas songs is her voice doesnt sound like her due to been over produced, when lisa singles on steps songs you know her voice straight away but i dont find that with her solo stuff.

Yes, U Sure Do is a bop!!

Not that its brilliant either or without its fault but i much prefer H and Claires solo efforts to Lisas overall.

U Sure Do - The production on this sounds awful, her vocals don't sound like they're mixed properly. This could have been great if only they mixed it properly instead of it sounding like a demo. No wonder they scrapped it.

I swear Get It On was faster than the version I’m playing!

 

But I guess she sings slightly slower so… win win!

 

Wow my use of sibilance was intense there!

Lisa did try with solo career, but it just didnt work out and from listening to the album you can see why, i think she just didnt work with the right people, lately however is a little bop.

Her U sure do should’ve been on the album!

'Get It On' - nice but forgettable, kinda just fades into the background, there was NO-WAY this was gonna save her flagging solo career.

I actually really like this album! I wouldn’t argue with a vinyl repressing!

 

But not by plastic pop records because that’s another f***ing nightmare.

Get it on is basic but okish. She hoped sex would sell.

It had no chance of doing that, Lisa needed a banger on the lines of Kylies cant get you out of my head to save her solo career and to make it even harder the press were viewing her solo career as a joke which made things even harder for her.

Thanks for hosting, i enjoyed this and great to see it so active, it wont really change my mind on Lisas solo out put in general but it has helped me appreciate Lately alot more than i sied.
