December 25, 20204 yr This is exceeding my expectations so far - thought Celeste and Miley were both great!
December 25, 20204 yr The artists are a bit hit and miss this year, Jamie Cullum’s was yawnworthy, Dua is pretty good though and I love the staging.
December 25, 20204 yr I’ve never heard that Rose song before and apparently it’s the third biggest of the year 😂😂😂

December 25, 20204 yr His albums class! I liked his collab he did with Robbie Williams last year but I guess his style of music isn’t really for me.
December 25, 20204 yr I thought the same but the albums really nice and Christmassy with the orchestra and all playing, been album number one on my personal chart!
December 26, 20204 yr I thought the Christmas Day TOTP was excellent. There is no reason the BBC could not make this programme weekly concentrating on a mixture of singles and albums charts. The national broadcaster should be providing a platform for all genres in music. It would also provide much a needed profile to many acts.
December 26, 20204 yr The viewing figures usually fade after a few weeks for these programmes and young people just watch things on you tube and the likes nowadays so won’t have the patience to sit and watch a half hour show
December 26, 20204 yr Author @1334061037075750919 Disappointing Becky didn’t perform ‘Forever Young’! I’ve been thinking what we might expect from the NYD show, as only 7 artists/songs have supposedly been confirmed for what I assume will be an another hour long show, so there must be some artists that aren’t in that list, otherwise maybe some are doubling up... I would still suggest, based a lot on that image of Becky, that she is performing Forever Young on the NYD show, but because Sigala is also in the lineup (with James Arthur) could she also be performing Heaven On My Mind? :o It was nice to see Ella perform Take Care Of You on the Christmas show, but I doubt she will perform Dream On Me for NYD, but happy to be proven wrong. :P Seeing they already showed the pre-recorded performances from Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Lewis Capaldi and Miley Cyrus on their Christmas Day special, will they have any other noteworthy performances to choose from the BBC archives of 2020? Other than that we might just get a repeat of the Christmas Day performances from Celeste, Clean Bandit or Joel Corry instead to fill up the time slot.
December 26, 20204 yr Hoping Yungblud performs Strawberry Lipstick  I expect it will be Cotton Candy or Weird though I thought the Christmas Day TOTP was excellent. December 26, 20204 yr I would guess it’ll be ‘Heaven On My Mind’ as they like it to be uptempo on nye for the night ahead but happy to be prove wrong as ‘Forever Young’ still might have a chance of a new peak with continued radio playlisting!

I don’t think it’s going to be all uptempo with the likes of Arlo Parks on the setlist. I don't think it will be Forever Young with the drummer sat behind her Outside chance of Space being performed then? That would be amazing. :o
