even with the erratic performance on Amazon, the Santa Mince Pie song should have charted, it's weird it didn't even make the top 100

same last week Aerosmith-Dream On was #2 on Amazon for a bunch of days, even if on ACR they should. have made the top 100 if Amazon streams are so big

Is Plastic Hearts (the song) doing well due to Tik Tok or something? Strange it would do well against the collabs or Angels Like You otherwise.
I still don't understand this bizarre attitude about Alexandra having an "ego". The press are the only ones who have ever brought it up and it all feels deep rooted in shadow racism.

 

Maybe egi was the wrong word , she americanised herself too much and started to rely to heavily on autotune which is baffling when she has an incredible voice

I think she came out in an interview and it was never her decision and she wanted to follow a more r&b/soul route but her label went against it :(.

I’m elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore’s sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern. It’s called evermore. To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in. I’ve never done this before. In the past I’ve always treated albums as one-off eras and moved onto planning the next one after an album was released. There was something different with folklore. In making it, I felt less like I was departing and more like I was returning. I loved the escapism I found in these imaginary/not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes and tragedies and epic tales of love lost and found into your lives. So I just kept writing them. And I loved creating these songs with Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, WB, and Justin Vernon. We’ve also welcomed some new (and longtime) friends to our musical iamspamspamamitable this time around...

How is Jess so high in the charts, I don’t get it! It’s like saying #7 on Amazon streaming is double the amount of #7 on Spotify which I don’t think is possible
