At #33 is Wouldn't Change A Thing, released in July 1989 as the 2nd single from her 2nd album Enjoy Yourself. The single was heavily promoted on UK TV while Kylie was recording her 2nd album, shortly after completing work on her first feature film 'The Delinquents'. Upon release the song was yet another commercial success by debuting at #2 on the UK singles chart, staying there for two consecutive weeks, being held off the top spot by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers's song "Swing The Mood". Elsewhere it managed top 10 peaks in Denmark, Australia & Finland, top 20 peaks in France & Spain, along with modest top 30 peaks in New Zealand, Germany & Switzerland. Another strong single choice by Kylie with this funky anthem that's perfect for that long hot summer, alongside great guitar on the backing track & keyboards particularly on the final choruses. A well deserved smash hit & yet another pop masterpiece from Kylie's early years.

At #32 we say goodbye to yet another era with Got To Be Certain, released in May 1988 as the 2nd single from her debut album Kylie. With the success of her previous 2 singles, Kylie begun work on her debut album & travelled to London, England to start recording. But this track was recorded in her native Melbourne, Australia along with 2 other album tracks. Unlike her previous single this wasn't written for Kylie. It was originally recorded by singer Mandy Smith who was also on the same PWL label for her own self-titled debut album. However for unknown reasons the song was shelved & given to Kylie instead. Upon release the song of course became a massive success worldwide by topping the charts in Australia & Finland, while hitting top 5 peaks in New Zealand, UK & Ireland, as well as top 10 peaks in Denmark, Germany, Norway, Switzerland & France. Yet another slice of pop perfection that was hot on the heels of an iconic hit with catchy hooks that are wistful & pleasing to the ear. On the whole this just great nothing more, nothing less.

At #31 we have the stunning ballad Flower which has done better than could ever imagine on here, a total surprise. The song was originally recorded for her 10th studio album X, but didn't make the cut. However, it was performed in the set list for the "KylieX2008" tour. In 2011 the song was re-recorded at London's Abbey Road Studios for the orchestral compilation album The Abbey Road Sessions & was released in September 2012 as the lead single. In the UK the track was ruled ineligible to chart, because it was served as a free download when the public pre-ordered the album. However when the album was released it managed to peak at #96 on the singles chart. At the time this came as an unexpected surprise as we don't normally get such a mature ballad from Kylie, yes she has done ballads before, but this is so gentle, beautifully arranged ballad, full of strings and showcases an often unheard strength in her vocals that demonstrates some beautiful versatility in such a yearning yet romantic number.

I've always had a huge soft spot for got to be certain and I love flower aswell. How they left flower off x in favour of some of songs that made it is beyond me but it went on to be the highlight of abbey roads. For the crazy people who say kylie cant sing they should listen to the BBC proms live version of the song as the vocal is stunning.

There will be just 2 songs in the next set & they will consist of a lead single & a 3rd single

Any guesses?

Flower is absolutely stunning, one of my favourite Kylie songs, it definitely deserved more attention.

3 songs that’s I absolutely love, all 3 got 10 points from me so I would have loved to have seen them higher.

I drew the smile upon my face

30. Into The Blue | 7.8 Highest Scores: 10: (Red Blooded Man, dabbile, Simon, elf, Qween), Lowest Scores: 2: (dandy)
29. Real Groove | 7.84 Highest Scores: 10: (Red Blooded Man, ___∆__, dabblie, elf), Lowest Scores: 5: (vibe)

Kicking off the top 30 is Into The Blue, released in January 2014 as the lead single from her 13th studio album Kiss Me Once. The song was recorded in London, England on Minogue's 45th birthday in May 2013 & upon its release it received critical acclaim from music critics & saw moderate chart success with top 10 peaks in Japan, Ireland & Hungary, top 20 peaks in UK & Spain, then top 40 peaks in Germany, Switzerland & Austria. In her native Australia it became her first lead single to miss the top 40 by peaking at #46. This was an epic, outstanding return with strings, synths & drum programming & of course Kylie's vocals soar over the massive double chorus, giving almighty strength to this brilliant track. For an artist whose in their 4th decade in the music business this proved that she could still deliver the goods & its a shame that this didn't quite get the chart success it truly deserved (thanks to the messy release), but as it stands this is a really solid pop song & was the best & only choice to kick start to what would be a very underwelming era.

At #29 we lose Kylie's next upcoming single Real Groove which is set to be the 3rd single from her 15th studio album Disco. Probably a bit premature to include this here, but this has done incredibly well on here & the real test will be when we have another singles rate in a few years time to see how well this holds up. A fantastic highlight from Kylie's most recent project that features some amazing vocalisations, sultry gliding grooves that captures that 70's sound yet with a modern twist perfectly. This is infectious & brilliant.

I'm glad to see ITB make it into the Top 30 :)

Wow I'm really blown away at how highly the BL singles ranked here. Aside from Fever, it's the only era that hasn't been revealed yet :o . I thought for sure RBW and Chocolate would get low placings. Love to see the BL love! :D

If love were human, it would know me

28. Timebomb | 7.86 Highest Scores: 11: (Simon), 10: (dabbile, ready for it, Jade, Tawdry Hepburn, Dannyboy, elf), Lowest Scores: 4/4.5: (Feel The Fever, Stuart25)
27. Chocolate | 7.88 Highest Scores: 11: (Lukuzz), 10: (Davidson, dabbile, Jade, Nick F1, blacksqaure), Lowest Scores: 5/5.5: (dandy, Stuart25)

At #28 is Timebomb, released as a stand alone single in May 2012 as part of Kylie's 25th anniversary in the music industry. The track was written by Karen Poole, Matt Schwartz and Paul Harris, whilst production was handled by the latter two collaborators. It was originally scheduled to appear on her 2012 greatest hits album The Best of Kylie Minogue, but didn't get included for unknown reasons, but was later included as part of the K25: Time Capsule box set that same year. Upon release the song received universal acclaim & performed moderately on the worldwide charts with top 20 peaks in Australia, Sweden, Hungary & Spain, as well as top 40 peaks in Italy, Ireland, UK, Japan, New Zealand & Slovakia. Due to high demand by Kylie's fan base, Parlophone distributed a CD single physical release of the track. A great track in it's own right, powered by a distorted electronic riff with an instant hook that firmly implants itself in your brain & some brilliant grinding basslines that makes for a fun-time. Sure this may sound very of its time, but its still a really great track.

At #27 we finally lose one of the 'BL' singles (leaving 'Fever' the only era left with all its singles). Chocolate, released in June 2004 as the 3rd & final single from her 9th studio album Body Language. Originally this was intended to be a collaboration with American rapper Ludacris, but that version got scrapped & kept as a solo track instead. The song is a ballad which uses chocolate simile to describe Minogue's obsession with love. Upon release the song gained favourable to mixed reviews but became a success on the UK singles chart by reaching a #6 peak, making this her 27th top 10 hit. Elsewhere it wasn't quite as successful as the album's previous singles with top 20 peaks in Australia, Greece, Italy & top 40 in Ireland. Then finally it made minor/lower dents on the charts in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria & France. This has to be Kylie's breathiest song to date laced with a slow penetrating beat that's smooth & sultry building to epic synth strings and a distant hint of a trumpet that creates one hell of a melody. Well this is a turn-around, normally this tends to struggle in these rates & actually glad as this was an underrated number that deserved more love, even I took a long time to warm to this & now I fully appreciate this lush track.

Timebomb far to high for me but delighted chocolate is higher than as i do really like chocolate and am surprised it made this high.
I love Timebomb, easily one of the best singles she did in the 2010s for me
Love 'Chocolate' one of my faves. I gave it my 11 as I was sure it wouldn't even go top 40 so glad to see it number 27. Its such a lovely song
LOVE Timebomb, Chocolate is literally completely forgotten these days.
