I'll always stay forever true

26. Hand On Your Heart | 7.94 Highest Scores: 10: (Nina West, ___∆__, Slowdown73, ready for it, elf, Qween), Lowest Scores: 4.5: (Stuart25)

In this selection we have the one two punch of not only the last of the 'EY' era singles, but we also say goodbye to the 80's decade. At #26 we have Hand On Your Heart, released in April 1989 as the lead single from her 2nd studio album Enjoy Yourself. Upon release the song received positive reviews from most music critics, who deemed it a highlight from the album and praised it as a strong single. Of course the song cemented Kylie's success by topping the UK charts (making this her 3rd #1), as well as topping the Irish charts & hit top 5 peaks in Finland, Greece, Australia & Denmark, along with top 10 peaks in Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, France & Norway. Definitely one of Kylie's strongest & most memorable hits from her early PWL days, with its more slicker & polished production & catchy bubble-gum pop melodies which makes this an instant classic. 80's pop perfection at its finest.

25. Never Too Late | 7.94 Highest Scores: 10: (Nina West, ___∆__, Pippa, Feel the Fever, Spiceboy, Tawdry Hepburn, Dannyboy), Lowest Scores: 4: (blacksquare)

At #25 is another PWL classic Never Too Late, released in October 1989 as the 3rd single from her 2nd studio album Enjoy Yourself. Allegedly Kylie wanted the album's title track to be released as the 3rd single, but Pete Waterman overruled her request & this was released instead. Upon release on the UK charts it debuted at a low #17 in its first week, due to the delayed release of the 12" single, but shot up to #4 in its second week & although it broke her run of top 3 hits, it still became another successful top 5 hit for her. Elsewhere it also charted well by topping the charts in Ireland & hit top 20 peaks in Spain, Australia & Netherlands, as well as top 40 peaks in Switzerland, France & New Zealand. Dare I say it is this another classic PWL track, YES it is. A gloriously fun number that has that true-to-form Stock Aitken Waterman composition, but it has aged much better than many of the others. The emotional lyrics are well-masked in its upbeat production & a strong chorus which makes this one of her best singles of her career.

Love both hand on your heart and never too late but much prefer never too late, I'm a huge fan of the enjoy yourself material in general.
I skip Hand on your heart every time but ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Never too late.
I long for a live version of hand on your heart that I really enjoy as with most of her singles that I love I have at least 1 live of them all that I love.

Never Too Late is a warm special single from her early days.

Deserves much greater than 25th position.

Got to Be Certain, I Should Be So Lucky, and Hand On Your Heart are too low. :(

Agreed! I love them all too

The facts that her debut and Enjoy Yourself ranked relatively low (as in completely outside the Top 20), and that only the Rhythm of Love era remains from the PWL days, suggest to me that most voters did not start their fandom during those eras. Many could've been too young or not born yet

I'm Shocked that Red Blooded Woman still hasn't been revealed yet! What a massive turnaround from, well, basically the entire time I've been a Kylie stan  In my experience, it's never been a big pleaser amongst Kylie fans.

Any guesses for which Fever single will drop first? I'm going with Come Into My World.

One kiss, a dangerous situation

24. Stop Me From Falling | 8.08 Highest Scores: 10: (Nina West), Lowest Scores: 4: (Spiceboy)

At #24 is Stop Me From Falling, released in March 2018 as the second single from her 14th studio album Golden. It was written by Minogue, Steve McEwan and Danny Shah, while production was handled by Sky Adams. In April 2018 the track was remixed into a collaboration with Cuban musical duo Gente De Zona, alongside a second music video that was shot in Havana, Cuba. Upon release it received favourable reviews & saw moderate success on the charts by reaching a top 40 peak in Hungary, top 50 in Ecuador & reached a #52 peak on the UK singles chart upon the album's release. In its original form the track has a great lively energy with a killer chorus, but the remix version really gives it that extra edge adding spice & flavour to this electric number that instantly resonates with the listener thanks o an absolutely explosive one-two-punch chorus and earnest lyrics. The brilliance lies in the fact that she never loses sight of her pop sensibilities throughout the country-tinged production, and it fuses together naturally. This is Kylie at her most authentic & that's why its a soaring success.

23. Where The Wild Roses Grow (ft Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds) | 8.08 Highest Scores: 11: (Red Blooded Man), 10: (Nina West, ___∆__, Pippa, Feel the Fever, Spiceboy, blacksquare, Lukuzz), Lowest Scores: 5: (ready for it)

At #23 is murder ballad Where The Wild Roses Grow, sung by Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds with guest vocals by Kylie herself. Released in October 1995 as the lead single from their ninth studio album Murder Ballads. Nick Cave was inspired to write the track after listening to the traditional song, "Down in the Willow Garden", a tale of a man courting a woman and killing her while they are out together. Upon release the song received a positive critical reception & became the band's most successful single worldwide by reaching top 5 peaks in Australia, Belgium, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Austria & Finland, as well as top 10 peaks in Ireland, Denmark & Netherlands. Certainly one of Kylie's most interesting & riskiest projects of her entire career that sees her step completely out of “pop” for the first time, a very bold move that could have went horribly wrong, but thankfully in this case she succeeds with this stunningly beautiful number that has that haunting theme of Kylie playing a murder victim & its wonderful. Both artists really sells this twisted tale in this iconic collaboration that is still often recognized as one of the best, most important moments in her career.

22. Come Into My World | 8.14 Highest Scores: 10: (ready for it, Simon, blacksquare, Lukuzz, elf, Qween), Highest Scores: 2: (Stuart25)

At #22 is Come Into My World, released in November 2002 as the 4th & final single from her 8th studio album Fever. Written and produced by Cathy Dennis and Rob Davis, the song was a last minute addition for the album & was given a remix for its single release. Following the global success of the album's previous singles, the label selected this as the final single due to its growing popularity on her 'KylieFever2002' tour. Upon release the song got positive critical reviews & became a commercial success by peaking at #4 in Australia & hit top 10 peaks in UK & Hungary, as well as top 20 peaks in Ireland, Romania, Italy, Canada, Denmark, Spain & New Zealand. In the USA it was released as the album's 3rd single where it reached a #91 peak & would go onto win a Grammy award for 'Best Dance Recording' in 2004. For most of the rate this was actually in the top 20, but thanks to the low score of 2 it dipped, but still ranks at a respectable position & ranking higher than many of her other bigger hits. An instant standout on what has to be one of Kylie's greatest body of works, with its wonderfully chilled out vibes that continues the album's classy run of singles. The single mix is definitely far stronger with Kylie's vocals being more prominent & yet seductive at the same time set against slinky electro beats & brilliant synth sounds that creates a pop masterpiece.

21. Step Back In Time | 8.18 Highest Scores: 10: (Nina West, Red Blooded Man, Davidson, Pippa, Qween), Lowest Scores: 5: (Jade)

Just lingering outside the top 20 at #21 is Step Back In Time, released in October 1990 as the 2nd single from her 3rd studio album Rhythm Of Love & musically, it is a disco song that lyrically pays tribute to the 1970s culture. Originally the follow up single 'What Do I Have To Do; was intended to be the 2nd single, but PWL executives scrapped that idea after the song's original mix had a lukewarm reception after its premiere on Pete Waterman's Radio City show. Upon release the song became a commercial success by reaching top 5/10 peaks in UK, Finland, Australia & Ireland & Spain as well as top 20/40 peaks in Belgium, Sweden, New Zealand, France, Switzerland, Netherlands & Germany. Probably one of Kylie's earliest disco numbers alongside a thumping 90's dance beat, add some guitars & what do we get...a joyous panache tribute to the 70's. An absolute classic in Kylie's back catalogue, hell she even named her most recent anthology collection after this glorious disco/dance track.
