I'm calling it.

Alan Jones does not mention it in the sales report, but surely Ordinary by Alex Warren would still be number 1 tonight if not on ACR

Dior number 1 on SCR sales of 42,157.

Ordinary by Alex Warren number 7 on ACR sales of 27,602.

Finally updated post 1, thanks so much to mrpopquiz for posting the weekly updates and to Julian for his excellent estimated "old rules" chart for helping me fill in the missing information!

So 'Ordinary' going to unofficially take the (consecutive) record next week then.

Not quite as Sabrina and Lewis still held it off for a week each. '(Everything I Do)...' still has the record of 16 consecutive with 'Love Is All Around' and 'One Dance' still the only others to do more than 13 in a row when ACR is taken out.

Confirmation in the sales report that Ordinary by Alex Warren would be number 1 for week 17 if still on SCR ( that includes last week as predicted )

Tonight:

Daisies at number 1 on SCR sales of 40,643

Ordinary at number 7 on ACR sales of 27,571 but pre-adjusted sales of 53,884.

Update:

18 I Believe

17 Ordinary

16 (Everything I Do It for You)

16 Last Christmas

15 Love Is All Around

15 One Dance

15 Dance Monkey

14 Bohemian Rhapsody

14 Shape of You

14 Despacito

This may change next week, but right now there has been at least one #1 (without ACR) lasting every number of weeks from 1 to 18.

There has also been at least one to last every number of weeks from 5-17 where some of these weeks were lost to ACR officially:

17 Alex Warren - Ordinary [4 lost to ACR]

16 Wham! - Last Christmas [6 lost]

15 Tones and I - Dance Monkey [4 lost]

14 Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber - Despacito [3 lost]

13 Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits [2 lost]

12 Dave & Central Cee - Sprinter [2 lost]

11 The Weeknd - Blinding Lights [3 lost]

10 Drake - God's Plan [1 lost]

10 Noah Kahan - Stick Season [3 lost]

10 Sabrina Carpenter - Taste [1 lost]

9 Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber - I Don't Care [1 lost]

9 Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss [1 lost]

8 Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You [5 lost]

7 Lola Young - Messy [3 lost]

7 Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso [2 lost]

6 Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) [3 lost]

5 24kGoldn feat. iann dior - Mood [1 lost]

(3 Ed Sheeran - Shivers [the only other song to have lost any weeks to ACR: 1 lost but 2 gained])

Congratulations ( sort of ) to Alex Warren as Ordinary is the UKs most popular song for a record equaling 18th week.

Golden by Huntr/X / Ejae / Audrey Nuna / Rei Ami number 1 tonight on SCR sales of 42,853.

Ordinary by Alex Warren number 9 on ACR sales of 25,438 but if still on SCR, it's sales would be 49,590.
