11th March was the cut off apparently because of them delaying BRITS until May!

Ooo fab, surely Arlo Parks could pick up a nomination or two then as well!

Yup, that's why I popped her on Breakthrough! Definitely one of the few who could get a British Female nom though, that's a lot more competitive than last year!

Charli XCX was nominated last year, not sure if she will be this time around even though her album was critically acclaimed.

Same for BMTH, they released just an EP and the competition is pretty tough.

Both of those have released new projects since though, Harry hasn't.

I'd say Harry has been more in the spotlight, and also lost to Lewis Capaldi last year. Wouldn't be much of an injustice if he was nominated, especially as Dua Lipa and The 1975 were basically the only internationally big fresher UK acts to release anything last year, so would be weird to leave Harry of all artists out of the picture. But we'll see.

I don't think they would be eligible as the eligibility list for most of the awards is based on artists who have had at least some level of chart success.
I'll sound a bit silly if he is, but I really can't see Harry Styles being nominated again after he was last year for his album!

I would agree but seeing as they’ve CONVINIENTLY extended the deadline for entries to December 13th 2019 (aka the day Fine Line came out), it strikes me as something they’re doing so they’re able to jump on Harry hype.
