Next we have the departure of another 'Christmas & Chill' song! 'Not Just On Christmas' is the first full-length track to drop out from this EP. It takes a cliché theme more commonly associated with Valentine's Day and gives it a Christmas make-over. This is loving somebody every day of the year - a theme quickly evident from the opening lines: "I'll love you 'til I die boy, every day of my life I celebrate you, I adore you... not just on Christmas". It marks a slower shift in pace on the EP, following the more upbeat 'December', so is definitely one that puts the chill in 'Christmas & Chill'. Ariana contributes a heartfelt vocal performance and the production is twinkly and string-heavy.

Good to see an increase in voters for that round - even if it means that one of my favourites has now departed :cry: I'm not all that surprised because I was the only one who seemed to be particularly enthusiastic about 'Not Just On Christmas' at the listening party. Forever an underrated beauty :heart:

 

Going for 'True Love' again!

Either 'Not Just On Christmas' or 'Love Is Everything' would have been my next vote after 'True Love' so I'm not mad it's out. I'm going for 'True Love' again, I find it a bit monotonous. Sorry to those defending it in the previous round. :lol:
