Sega Bodega & Lapsley climb to 3. Miley Cyrus gets a 3rd top 10 of 2020, and Billy Idol his first in 5 years or so and 36 years since he topped my charts with Eyes Without A Face. Taylor Swift has a massive Xmas climb into the 30, as other new tracks debut, and some exit, Christmas Tree Farm starting to sound like a perennial too. Gwen Stefani and PNAU get top 40 climbers, along with Keith Urban's festive offering in a great year for him. Highest new entry is a debut for 90's Alternative rockers Better Than Ezra, as Grateful is a track featured in the season finale of Stargirl, DC's teen-superhero version of the Justice League of America. Kylie's pleasant, if underwhelming, new single off Disco enters fairly lowly, as a new version of Annie Lennox's 10-year-old A Christmas Cornucopia version of Henry Purcell's Dido's Lament is dusted off for the Lockdown generation. The video is nice, just faces, and the traditional carol is lovely. 32 years of solo entries for Annie, 41 years of charting. Gold falling again :o I'm surprised it hasn't done as well as Falling Down for you. Golden out the top 40. It didn't do all too well.officislky either which I didn't understand. Last Night On Earth has been such a lovely track to listen to from Paloma. Definitely one of the highlights on the album. Levitating has been here for 32 weeks :o it's really grown on me again :wub: Fantastic chart!

Hey James! :) A Little Love is quite sweet, and fine for Xmas, but her new track may be much better - it's kind of got Amy Winehouse vibes :o Chart positions dont always matter in my charts, usually it's how long they stay on the chart and total "sales" so Gold might yet outdo the other Paloma track as I'm cooling on that one now. Half a million "sales" usually means it's in the best 40 of the year, though, so both have a Win really :) I think Golden suffered from being the 19th single off the album :lol: , it's very hard to sustain hit singles a year after debuting an album these days unless your surname ends in "eeran" so he did pretty well. :dance: Levitating is just fab. It got a boost after I watched the performance she did at the American Music Awards. Well worth a google! B-)

Ce Matin-La was quite the grower with me too, it was always pleasantly nice, but it crept up on me and became special with repeat listens :wub: Know what you mean about Amazon exclusives. I was determined not to enjoy This Christmas, but it was quite decent. It's just the whole idea that they become hits purely because they bung them on Xmas play-lists. At least most christmas streaming hits also sell on downloads so they are genuinely popular on both formats, but the amazon exclusives.......not so much. cheers! B-)
