True. I'm expecting a big jump on Spotify today even though her playlisting there is not great, but she is now on TTH at number 23.

Her song from HSM the reboot on Disney+ has almost 200M streams on Spotify, she did a cover of Cruel Summer by Taylor in April and got a lot of attention, and the song is just good.

I don’t have a clue who Olivia is either and I don’t mind the song but I don’t understand why it’s rocketing to #1 everywhere?

 

I’m guessing she has a huge fanbase or it’s blowing up on TikTok already?

She has a small fanbase due to HSM/Disney but I think a lot of it is word of mouth and just the song being that good!!

 

So impressed and think at this rate, it could be one of the defining hits of 2021 :o

I've never heard of Olivia Rodrigo but it's a great song and it's very refreshing to see a new pop artist do well with such ease in the streaming era!
