Anyway i'm in a good mood today! college was $h!t and i had to have two meetings, one over attendance grrr  and another about uni andhow i don't know what i want to do :(

How is everyone?

Edited by jack89

I'm okay, I had 6th form which was boring. It's starting to get a bit busy, but never mind ^_^ Oh and I have morning sickness

I'll post in Kelly's forum if you want Jack? I'll see what there is ^_^

If you don't know what to do Jack, have you considered a gap year? :) If you decide not to go to university straight away you can always go later. I had a friend who entered university when he was in his 40s. Good luck Jack.

Interesting statistics there, thanks Tim. :D

Yeah i wanted a year off but dad won't let me :( ooo and thanks slick :D

and kalen LOL mungin!!! thats a well weird word! we say wagging or sciving.

Well Im getting dahn to Kylie's Red Bwooded Woman so :yahoo:

And ya I took a gap year this year didnt know what the hell i wanted to do with my life Jack - now I do and im going to Uni in September to start training to be a counsellor :D

I took one. Really glad I did - gave me chance to decide exactly what I wanted to do next.

When I've finished my degree, I'll have to decide all over again

If you've got a job and offer to pay your Dad a bit of rent, he may let you take one.

I hate how all the tutors etc are lecturing you non stop and family too. they expect you to make the huge jump from leaving education to your perfect future just like that. Its a really hard time - I mean how many people 17/18ish really know what they want to do when they finish school or college?

I was doing A Levels just because I was good at the subjects it wasnt what i wanted to do at all.

He doesn't agree that his children should oay him rent but he doesn't want us to waste a year, hes very confusing

Also "dahn" i learn't about that word in english the other day... you are southern? lol

Is counselling hard?

I agree with Graham, I'm expected to know what university I want to go to by September! :o I'm not even sure what course I want to/need to take yet :o They dump way too much pressure on young people.

You should go, I had a great time at Uni!

Im not southern Jack

And well I've not started it much yet - I'm getting a voluntary placing starting in July and start a night course once a week in September.

Ive been to enough counsellors in my time I'll admit and they'll all old and manky and have no idea what theyre going about I dont think.

I aim to be fun and show aa real understanding -_-

Oh I am going, and I'm looking to become a journalist. But how to get there is what I need to sort out, courses etc. I hate talking about it because the future depresses me, I prefer to take one day at a time ^_^

U have to plan slicky.

I hate planning ahead but before you know it a whole year has just flashed by

I know, but I'm working up to it  I hate the future :arrr: It's so big and scary
