Well spotted, it appears the Scottish singles chart is no more, it was including downloads up to and including 13th November 2020, appeared to go physical only for the three weeks after that, and hasn't updated since then (4th December)

'Adore You' by Harry Styles cracks our top 30 with an impressive five weeks at #4! Just ahead of it is New Zealand artist BENEE, whose 'Supalonely' became a TikTok hit in the early stages of the pandemic and saw chart success as a result, including a top 10 Multichart peak. Kylie Minogue is still popular enough on Buzzjack for Multichart #1s, as evidenced by 'Say Something' which kicked off her DISCO era last year. While London Grammar's latest lead single wasn't quite a #1, 'Baby It's You' was still very well-received and easily their biggest Multichart hit to date - 9 weeks top 10! Another comeback single rounds out this section, 'React' was the Pussycat Dolls' first single in a decade and fell just short of #1 here, blocked by 'Physical'.

Aww hoped that React will reach top 20 :/

Topic & A7S' inferior Ocean Drive copy 'Breaking Me' is #25, with Becky Hill's Better Off Without You a few spots higher- which gave produer Shift K3Y a return to the charts. Clean Bandit & Mabel's Tick Tock is also here, a #2 hit thankfully held off by none other than Miley Cyrus. Last up is Little Mix's Break Up Song, which eventually crept up to a #4 peak, they still have one song remaining...

 

'Boss Bitch' having incredible longevity to make up for that underwhelming peak *.*

Save A Kiss :wub: Here it is. The most Important and best song of 2020! Jessie Ware is an Icon. I think I'd love to meet her, honestly. Maybe she could write a song about me, Call it 'Gay Boy!'.

Holiday is a cute song I guess. i know that this was popular on Buzzjack, Evidently! but for me, it was just alright. I feel like up until this point, Little Mix had become unrecognisable as a British Girl Band, In My Opinion at least.

Cardigan :wub: It's such a beautiful song, from a beautiful album. Folklore was Taylors first attempt at a folk/pop album although it did sound not too dissimilar to her earlier stuff. I am chomping at the bit for a proper pop album now though.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) i've not heard this song at #16. I've not liked any of raye's stuff. So here we have a song by the artist Raye who I dislike. If this song IS good and someone can convince me, i'll give it a listen!

Surprised to see Holiday above Break Up Song, the latter seem to be received a lot better here.

We have double Dua and double Gaga in this section! 'Stupid Love' was blocked from #1 by none other than 'Physical' but managed a strong finish here. 'Head & Heart' was equally massive on the Multichart but blocked from #1 by two songs - 'Rain On Me' and 'Hallucinate'. Speaking of Dua, 'Don't Start Now' fell just short of the 2019 EOY due to its mid-Q4 release, so #13 for 2020 is a respectable result! 'Break My Heart' beats it by just one place but nearly 100 points, and just one point shy of 'Rain On Me'. :o How surprised are we that 'Rain On Me' missed the top 10!? Unfortunately it dropped out a little too quickly after those 10 weeks at #1.

I'm surprised all these songs (from 11 to 15) are not top 10 tbh. :o

The most recent of our Top 10 entries - Miley Cyrus further proved the retro synthpop revival was the best thing that could've happened to the charts, by releasing her opus 'Midnight Sky'. It deservedly clocked eight weeks at #1 on the Multichart, her fifth time reaching the top spot

I've never been a massive fan of Harry Styles Music, so to see this Top 10 was rather disappointing :lol: especially since I don't particularly like the song at all either. He has released some amazing stuff after this so perhaps I'm coming around to supporting him now. I fully expect to see Two song by Harry on the EOY Multi 2021.

'Roses' was a unique and somewhat unexpected UK #1 and managed top 5 in the US as well. It was well-received on Buzzjack too with six months on the Multichart, 10 weeks in the top 10 and a peak of #5. We're starting to hear more hit songs that sound like this now! Production-wise at least, not so much the high-pitched vocal :lol:

I think the 'slap house' trend is at risk of becoming stale really quickly - if not arguably having done so already - but 'Roses' as the originator of it has been an enduringly fantastic song for me, it only peaked at #8 for me but deserved a lot higher in retrospect.

 

'Watermelon Sugar' and 'Midnight Sky' are both good tunes too (although I thought both had better songs from their respective albums) so a good top 10 thus far ~
