While London Grammar's latest lead single wasn't quite a #1, 'Baby It's You' was still very well-received and easily their biggest Multichart hit to date - 9 weeks top 10! Another comeback single rounds out this section, 'React' was the Pussycat Dolls' first single in a decade and fell just short of #1 here, blocked by 'Physical'.

Holiday is a cute song I guess. i know that this was popular on Buzzjack, Evidently! but for me, it was just alright. I feel like up until this point, Little Mix had become unrecognisable as a British Girl Band, In My Opinion at least. Cardigan :wub: It's such a beautiful song, from a beautiful album. Folklore was Taylors first attempt at a folk/pop album although it did sound not too dissimilar to her earlier stuff. I am chomping at the bit for a proper pop album now though. Unfortunately (or fortunately) i've not heard this song at #16. I've not liked any of raye's stuff. So here we have a song by the artist Raye who I dislike. If this song IS good and someone can convince me, i'll give it a listen!

Speaking of Dua, 'Don't Start Now' fell just short of the 2019 EOY due to its mid-Q4 release, so #13 for 2020 is a respectable result! 'Break My Heart' beats it by just one place but nearly 100 points, and just one point shy of 'Rain On Me'. :o How surprised are we that 'Rain On Me' missed the top 10!? Unfortunately it dropped out a little too quickly after those 10 weeks at #1.

He has released some amazing stuff after this so perhaps I'm coming around to supporting him now. I fully expect to see Two song by Harry on the EOY Multi 2021.

It was well-received on Buzzjack too with six months on the Multichart, 10 weeks in the top 10 and a peak of #5. We're starting to hear more hit songs that sound like this now! Production-wise at least, not so much the high-pitched vocal :lol:
March 20, 20214 yr I think the 'slap house' trend is at risk of becoming stale really quickly - if not arguably having done so already - but 'Roses' as the originator of it has been an enduringly fantastic song for me, it only peaked at #8 for me but deserved a lot higher in retrospect. 'Watermelon Sugar' and 'Midnight Sky' are both good tunes too (although I thought both had better songs from their respective albums) so a good top 10 thus far ~
