5th - 8.353 - Overload

Highest Scores: 10 - engineer, ilovepollo, JosephStyles, Voodoo | 9 - Jay, Fleetwood Maz, Santa Haus

Lowest Scores: 6.5 - Alberto!, RobBot MBE | 7 - Blond 2.0, Mr.X

The Top 4 is therefore all singles, but which order will they end up in? Any predictions?

Who I am will be #1

My prediction is:

1. Who I am

2. In and out of love

3. Blame it on me

4. Into you

Although my personal rating now would be

1. Who I am

2. Into you

3. In and out of love

4. Blame it on me

(5. Overload)

My prediction is:

4. In & Out of Love

3. Into You

2. Blame It on Me

1. Who I Am

Gotta say that both of those songs have not aged well since I first heard them...
In and out of love got old quick for me but Into You I still like. The right top 2 and hopefully Who I am #1 as its her best song in years.

For me, those two tracks exemplify the progression that Melanie has made with this album. They're fabulous.

'Who I Am' has slicker, more well-rounded production. And I do love it. But the lyrics to these two are more light-hearted, which is great to hear from our girl.

I guess that Into You is so alike to other songs in the album - such as Here I Am - that it grates on me, as the lyrics are basically the same lol

With In and Out of Love, I cant distract the fact that it sounds very much like a Dua Lipa reject. For me, this has been a consistent issue with Melanie's music, such as Understand (which sounded like a Coldplay reject) or Carolyna (which sounded like a Red Hot Chilli Peppers reject), or On The Horizon (which sounded like a New Radicals reject). They don't particularly sing true and just sound like they are trying to catch someone else's sound...

It's good to be inspired, but in those circumstances, it just sounded like cheap copies.

I think In and Out of Love is definitely the suprior of those mentioned, but I cant quite love it as much as everyone here does ah..

With impressive average scores of over 9, it is the first two singles from the album that lead the way in the rate results - with lead single Who I Am coming out on top!

Thanks to everyone who voted, sorry that this took a loooonng time - please feel free to let everyone know what you think of the results!

9.824 Who I Am

9.118 Blame It on Me

8.971 In and Out of Love

8.618 Into You

8.353 Overload

8.088 Good Enough

7.324 Here I Am

7.324 Nowhere to Run

7.176 End of Everything

7.176 Fearless (feat. Nadia Rose)

6.559 Escape

6.412 High Heels

6.147 Touch Me

6.059 Self Love

Glad the two best tracks won, they are hands down her best singles since Northern Star.

That top two was the right result for me. I flip-flop between preferring 'Blame It On Me' and 'Who I Am'.

I think that's mainly because I overplayed 'Who I Am' early on. I was blown away by that production when it was released. I was obsessed.
