I only listen to the 3 main singles and Into you. The rest I find really sub par. I'd say the highs on Melanie C are top notch but it's a chore the rest of it. The sea is definitely more consistent and obviously NS.

I'd rank it along side BI and VOM in the middle of her catalogue. TT, Reason and Stages bottom tier.

Here I Am achieved the same average score as Nowhere to Run, but places higher in the results due to the fact the highest score it received is a 10, compared to Nowhere to Run's highest score being 9.

I'm going to step away from trying to write commentary, but I'll still share some of my thoughts about the songs, and I certainly welcome your comments!

I really like how defiant Here I Am is - not just lyrically, but also in the tone of singing. I feel like she's asserting that she knows she is worthy of her place in the music industry, and that the passion that she has for music is strong enough for her to persevere in an industry that isn't always very supportive of her. I appreciate how she references ageism very directly in the lyric "They said I was too old [...] but I'm on fire.". G'won Melanie

Good Enough - Joseph summed it up... what a bop! :cheeseblock: I find it quite interesting lyrically. It seems to be about a toxic relationship, one in which she's not sure whether to try and rectify it or cut her losses.

If there was to be another single from the album, I would definitely go with Here I Am. Open the era with Who I Am and close it with Here I Am. :music:

The tribal sounds in it are something she has never explored in a single before. Radio 2 would love it, and it could provide a nice concept for a video.

Other than a couple of songs it's not an album I've gone back to since the big November releases took over and overshadowed it in my eyes & ears =\ but these two are two of my favourites on the album alongside WIA and BIOM.

I also don't understand the appeal of Overload, which for me is in the league of Fearless.
