Victoria would want nothing to do with anything solo I'm sure. They could maybe throw Mel C a bone and let her do When you're gone at a push.

To be totally fair to this comment I agree Victoria likely wouldn't want anything to do with solo material and I don't think Geri would particularly want to do a solo moment but I think Geri would be happy to perform solo songs as a group. I think Mel B wouldn't be fussed either way seeing as she didn't even bother to do a solo track on TROTSG tour and Emma I can also see not being too fussed about it. Melanie C is probably the only one who would really love it and potentially push for it since she obviously has always been very passionate about performing.
February 2, 20214 yr The solo songs in 2007 tour went down like a lead balloon, they were such an atmosphere and Vibe killer. I like what you did there 🤣😉 Did u even go to the live shows? They didnt come across to good on the leaks but in the arena that is not a true statement. Obs they would need to rehearse alot. The return and the 2019 was put together very quickly.

The only ones that got the crowd going at all were I Turn To You and Its Raining Men and even then they were just a bit meh :unsure: Again, they are just a cute thing to add if you do them in a medley but to spend 4 or 5 slots doing solos? Naaaa it's a waste
February 2, 20214 yr I thought IRM and ITTY were received pretty well during TROTSG tour. However, IF any solo songs are going to be sung at Glastonbury (if they do it) I can only see Melanie C, Emma and maybe Geri doing any solo material, preferably I Turn To You, What Took You So Long and It's Raining Men.

The only ones that got the crowd going at all were I Turn To You and Its Raining Men and even then they were just a bit meh :unsure: Again, they are just a cute thing to add if you do them in a medley but to spend 4 or 5 slots doing solos? Naaaa it's a waste and they are the songs being suggested

February 2, 20214 yr For Geri's sake I hope she doesn't do a solo slot anywhere if her GAY and SW19 performance is anything to go by. She was so stiff and uneasy a lot of the time. I really would love her to let go and enjoy the performances but I feel while she is still wearing white and wants to be seen as lady Geri she won't be throwing herself into performances like she used to. She is far too self aware now which is a shame. Honestly I think even Emma would struggle to sell a solo performance on a massive stage like Glastonbury. Edited February 2, 20214 yr by sammy01

The Return tour got so much flack from the fandom about the solos and the medley, it was such a nice surprised that they went with album tracks in 2019 - just what everyone wanted! And also, not just Denden. I went with mostly non-Spice fans and they all complained about the solos and that horrible medley :unsure:

Not spice lunatics on denden. 🤯 With all the Geri bashing going on about stiffness and whiteness i wouldn't be shocked is she gives next year a miss.

Talking about the girls, their projects and rumours?.... I am very much yet to see any horrible things written about the girls here, this isnt Spice Circle lol It's not like there is much more either to debate since the group is not yet doing anything publicly anyway.... We either debate this or nothing else. Shall we just close shop guys? Or go to Spice Circle to talk YET AGAIN about how horrible Geri is cos she wore white again? February 2, 20214 yr Solo songs would be a disaster, that's my take and it can be discussed the reasons why it's not disrespectful to point out Geri was very stiff at SW19. I mean I paid my money I was there, if I went to see a film and the film was bad or a actor in particular was bad would you say people shouldn't discuss it As it stands Mel B doesn't care about here solo career. Victoria actively distances herself from hers. Geri is very different to the Geri who released its raining men and I worry for her performing alone (and I don't think she wants to anyway). Emma is a nice little solo artists but she isn't main stage Glastonbury. Mel C could just about pull off 1 song but really what's the point if the others can't or don't want to. Might as well play a well loved album track as a group.
