Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.

If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder:

SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios:

100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc)

600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc)

ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios:

200 premium streams = 1 sale

1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale

Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR.

The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. The explanations are posted in each update to assist you.

About time I think for Dynamite and Holy, both did well in the top 40! Week after next could be a big clearout! None of those jump out as being able to save themselves, maybe Whoopty as that would feel quite early for it but then again it was in the charts for a few weeks before it hit top 10 so it's had a good run already! Hoping this is the last of Tate McRae! Especially as she has a new song out.
Hi! If Willow drops to no. 22 the week before falling to ACR, will it drop off the chart, or will even the halved streams/sales be enough for it to chart? If that is enough to chart, how high will it chart? Thanks!
Quite a few songs I really like set to go onto ACR in a couple weeks, hope a couple of them can avoid at least. The chart doesn't feel that stale just now so I'll be fine with a few older ones hanging around a bit longer if it makes the quality of the chart a bit better

This is the second time 'Holy' is going to ACR btw, it got a few extra weeks on SCR following the release of the NHS Choir version. (Unsure if that was a manual reset or if the NHS Choir version release actually caused a significant stream increase).

Certainly feels like it's more than time for all the songs going to ACR, and would say the same about all those set to possibly go to ACR next week except maybe 'Golden' and 'Body' (although I think it's likely even those two have peaked already, a shame that 'Body' never really went anywhere after showing early momentum).

Also the second time for Dynamite - it went to ACR just before the album release came along and reset it

I thought I remembered you saying that had never been on ACR oops. (I guess that was just you saying it wasn't on ACR over Christmas :kink:)

Correct :kink:! It got reset after the album release and stayed on SCR over Christmas!

I like clear out like new music get in

Shallow need leave top 100 now

It's on ACR of course so you can hope, but if it leaves, it's not because of the rules. It has actually been super stable in streams (at least worldwide) for a year now.

'Shallow' is essentially immune to ever being excluded from the chart since the OCC don't seem to consider it to be a Gaga song, so even the 'Chromatica' album bomb didn't knock it out

Will definitely drop out of the Top 40; likely into the 50s.
