A few of the big favourites are very much solid but in my mid-table, so I'd like to really not see France or Switzerland winning, they are both very credible and well performed songs but my gut just says a ballad won't win this year. Italy is good too but not growing in a huge way. So in terms of the favourites I'm rooting all the way for Malta, Je Me Casse is so good. But as a sucker for a big, classic pop chorus, it's Cyprus and Norway all the way for me at the moment, hopefully one of them at least can make the top half in the final. Embers also sounded great in the car and does stand on its own as a chart dance banger, so I'm hoping it does better than the odds suggest. Denmark and Poland are quickly growing and I wouldn't actually rule out both qualifying, the 80s sound is super in vogue and they both do it well.

April 17, 20214 yr Just had another two listens and it's still not doing a whole lot for me unfortunately, though I'd possibly lift it to 32nd, the bottom two for me is pretty clearly defined but the rest of this lot could be in any order really.
