She also confirms the music video for the song ‘Cried Out’ that she filmed in December is no longer the next single.

 

She also has said she’s changed a lot of the sound of the album.

Ehrm, great use of funds Jesy.

I love how she's always like "whew no one is readyyyy for what we're cooking uuup" as if her solo career hasn't been painfully predictable. We know exactly what we're getting unfortunately

Jesy’s announced a break from social media to go travelling the world over the summer.

 

It is actually so nice to see her putting her mental health first and doing whatever she wants. She’s said recently she’s struggling with social media so isn’t on it much anymore, so fair play she’s going to take a longer break.

 

It’s sad she had to turn comments off but it makes me happy she’ll actually be enjoying life.

 

Also I find it interesting she separates ‘work’ and music, I wonder if she’s going to do non-music stuff too.

 

I’ve spoke to Jesy, she said she plans to release more singles before an album. I get why she’s not releasing an album as it’ll be a waste of her money at this point as it is likely to flop unfortunately. She definitely just needs to keep releasing music and slowly building her fan base.

 

She said ‘Bad Thing’ is the lead and basically said to me BOYZ isn’t a part of this album and she wants a fresh slate from it. I love Bad Thing and am rooting for Jesy, her voice is amazing and i've enjoyed both songs so far.

 

I actually applaud her for doing what she wants and genuinely putting her mental health first, it's been a long road for her.

Realistically speaking, Jesys album is going to flop regardless and in all honesty it’s not going to see the light of day.

Surely an album is the only thing she could be slightly profitable with? If Louise and Claire Richards can keep releasing solo albums they must make some profit with the multi format get fans to buy 5 copies way the album chart works.

 

She is no Melanie C who self funded the multi formats for her last album for a #8 peak and hasn't stopped playing festivals since.

 

2 more singles max and Jesy will be done with music and onto something else.

If Bad Boyz had been the slay she really wanted, thought, and hoped it would be, she 100% would be sticking with that sound.

She is just trying to chase a hit and it comes across as false now.

She’s doing what lots of struggling artists do before releasing an album, releasing multiple singles.

 

If she was chasing a hit she wouldn’t be taking another break for her mental health to go travelling.

 

But yeah I agree with Billy it’s unlikely to do well whenever it comes out. However, as a fan I hope it comes out one day as I love her voice and loved the songs she’s put out, especially Bad Thing.
