What?? That is certainly unexpected. Probably an old song from the Threads era?

Whoah! :cheer: Can't wait to hear this. She's been recording solo songs endlessly since the Girls Aloud split so I assume this is an old song.

 

I'll be getting it for sure, I'd love an album even more.

I wonder has Sarah enough material recorded to get a solo album out, it would be nice to hear some of the songs she recorded even if they only got a download only /streaming release.

Apparently this is out at midnight for sales and streaming, with profits going to the NHS.

 

It was also recorded a decade ago in the break between OOC and Ten.

Great cause that it will go to, and hopefully this gets some support, id love Sarah to get an official Top 75 solo credit.

It's a fun track, wouldn't stand a chance of being a hit anyway not that that's the intention with this release. Already got it stuck in my head!

Wish she had released it tomorrow instead but I will get my copy soon !

Why didn't she release this instead?!

Wear It Like a Crown was recorded sometime between Girls Aloud’s 2009 hiatus and the 2012 comeback, so I suppose by the time she came to release Threads in 2015 she was focused on her more recently recorded material!

 

I’m liking the song and so great to see it at #1 on iTunes :wub:
