It’s hard to say for sure but I do hope so! As far as I’m aware they’ve never exceeded 10 million listeners before.

They get a huge boost new years eve/day too as Wannabe is a go to party song. I think it did its biggest streaming day ever NYE last year. So hopefully by Jan 2nd they will be over 10 million listeners as it is a monthly thing and Christmas Wrapping wasn't added to the big playlist till Dec 5th so those extra listeners wont fall off till Jan 5th in theory.

Which is why I wish they would get their act together when it comes to streaming - I think Step To Me has potential to be higher as I think there's a fair amount of people that remember the track, even if it's not by name. It is also intresting just how much bigger NGUOTGT is than any other album track. I guess having an official video helps it as probably does Step to me having a lyric video. Which is why something like a lyric video or an uploaded official video in some way would help Christmas Wrapping.

specially when two of those tracks have been highly recognised for decades too, due to them being used in highly successful advertisement campaigns. Honestly, it is baffling!

 

Move Over might be more recognisable due to the iconic TV advert and the Istanbul performance but lets not forget that Step To Me's CD single sold upwards of 600,000 copies through that Pepsi promotion at the time, which is HUGE! Its been performed live on their tours and on TV and played on the radio, etc... It is a well known song and from what I remember, quite popular too!

 

The fact it wasnt included in their Greatest Hits was such a misstep at the time, same as with it not being on the Spiceworld album (apart from Japan, I know). It has always had a bit of a baffling treatment to it, which is a shame. It goes OFF live! :wub:
