specially when two of those tracks have been highly recognised for decades too, due to them being used in highly successful advertisement campaigns. Honestly, it is baffling!

 

Move Over might be more recognisable due to the iconic TV advert and the Istanbul performance but lets not forget that Step To Me's CD single sold upwards of 600,000 copies through that Pepsi promotion at the time, which is HUGE! Its been performed live on their tours and on TV and played on the radio, etc... It is a well known song and from what I remember, quite popular too!

 

The fact it wasnt included in their Greatest Hits was such a misstep at the time, same as with it not being on the Spiceworld album (apart from Japan, I know). It has always had a bit of a baffling treatment to it, which is a shame. It goes OFF live! :wub:

 

Yes, both Move Over and Step to Me screams of tracks that a lot of people will have in the back of their mind, even if they might not even directly associate them with the Spice Girls at this point; it's like when Madonna started performing Dress You Up for the first time in decades - it was like it had laid dormant in the back of a lot of people's minds. With streaming and tracks going viral it seems silly not to push Move Over and Step to Me.

We wont even get Christmas days numbers till boxing day so we have plenty of big climbs to go. I think it will peak early Jan after the NYE playlists give Wannabe a big boost.
