21st. You And I = 9votes



Welcome Buzzjack to Round 7 of Lady Gaga's least fave singles poll & finishing in 21st place & just falling short of the top 20 is...You And I, which gained 9 votes & comes as a surprise to NO-ONE, as its been getting some high votes in the previous rounds. But on a more positive note this is the longest this track has ever lasted, in previous polls it never got past round 4. Released in August 2011 as the 4th single from her 2nd studio album Born This Way & became a huge success in the States by reaching the top 10 & selling over 3 Million units, however in the UK it became her first to miss the top 20 & elsewhere it's success was very mixed. On the album itself this is one of those grand show-stopping ballads, but as a single stripped down into its radio edit with production that seems a tad too grandiose for the tune’s emotional foundation. There were better tracks on the album that could have been singles, but as this stands this was the first taste of the Country/Rock sound that Gaga would further explore several years later & this is a roaring anthem of a song that does deserve some more attention from time to time.

'LoveGame;, & 'Million Reasons' both managed 3 votes each, while 'I'll Never Love Again' had 2 votes. Then finally 'Telephone' 'Born This Way' both getting a vote for the first time, as well as 'Marry The Night', 'The Cure' & 'Always Remember Us This Way' each yet again getting a vote each.

'The Edge of Glory' was released immediately after it and it is one of her biggest songs! I agree 'Judas' wasn't a sensible choice of single (let alone SECOND single) and it did some damage to her but this is a slight reach~

EOG would be a classic and a huge no.1 had it been released second, but preferably first!! Judas stripped it of that and got her tarred as a Madonna tribute act forever!
