A bit odd, but could be that they want to try and continue to push the album to Platinum so all their albums will have that certification.

Sounds like this is legit to me!

 

We had SO MANY 'Sky' references with Clouds, Blue etc...

 

This makes me think that Little mix are over though like they're going to continue this album and Confetti will be the final tour.

 

Either that or they want to boost sales of Confetti so it has a chance of getting a higher Cert.

 

I'm really not mad at Confetti at all it's still one of my favourites from the album FOR SURE..

 

In fact I'm actually really excited for the video and for this to get proper single treatment, They will honestly KILL the live performances of it.

They were just in the studio working on new music so some sort of new music is definitely coming!

seems very strange although I suppose they need to press forward with something 'confetti' - esque to coincide with the tour and I guess no new songs are ready yet?

'Happiness' is for me their best song ever, so I'm actually pretty pissed about this tbh.

I think it's a great move - Confetti already has a peak of #23 so worst case scenario, it does little in the singles chart but already has a top 40 peak to its name - yet it'll help shift a few albums and keep them on the radio for the time being. Best case scenario would probably come from a new mix with a feature but we'll see how much effort and promo it actually gets.
The pics from the video shoot are giving me serious Power vibes - fourth single from a hit album that gets heavy investment for the video. Even the queer vibes and the queens from Drag Race again (Bimini, Tayce and Awhora, per Twitter). If they get a good feature on it and manage for it to be added to Hot Hits UK again I think it could work!

KAMILLE, MNEK and Jade did a livestream here in which KAMILLE pranks them about losing "all the songs they did the other day in the studio". MNEK jokes saying "The album is cancelled!" so we can assume LM7 is in the works!

 

They wrote five songs that day and all of the girls love them.

This is what I'm hoping for, Jade is going to have to deliver on that music video in the rain fantasy. Also maybe they were dubious about releasing 'Happiness' as the single due to what we described before (Imagine the Press running with the whole Happiness after Jesy departs thing) PLUS their last single was 'No Time For Tears' which shares quite a similar message.

 

But yeh fingers crossed 'Confetti' does well so they consider releasing 'Happiness' too... although at this point it seems like they're more than ready to release new material.
