Perrie just said how this is the last song from Confetti and they chose it to close the album as it’s always been one of their favourites.

Excited at what’s to come for them! Really hope this does well for them too.

Video might be coming tomorrow, Perrie said it's ready to go and think it's coming tomorrow but she can't remember (lol)

Also hinted that they've began work on LM7.

SO HYPED. I actually like the sound of that 7 track collab EP rumour, to tide us over until LM7. An EP of collabs will be better than a full album of them as a trio. I want LM7 to be just the three of them, preferably!

Would it..?

nvm i misread.

I dunno if that collab EP is something i want, part of me enjoys the idea, cause Little Mix have rarely been in the position to collab with other people as a featured artist, but as a trio they have terrible taste in artists they collectively enjoy lol.

we want Ariana and Chloe x Halle but instead we get David Guetta and Anne-Marie? this sucks.

i would prefer their album tbh, even if it had a collab or two

This whole video concept has me on edge - I'm so nervous lol

I really hope there's some choreo!

I think it's better not to hope for choreo as they are selling it as a 'mini-story/film' so i'm not expecting chore, as much as i'd love it and hope i'm pleasantly surprised!

I don’t think it’s necessarily who they want- it’s who is available- remember we nearly got Meghan Trainor on the Hair remix (???)- in the interview Perrie did today she said their dream collabs would be Chloe x Halle or Normani.

whenever they try to push the "we're telling a story" narrative it never works cause 1) the video is too short 2) their creative team isn't good enough to pull of a concept that good and even if the girls have the creativity, which they probs do, their label isn't behind it & 3) their music isn't that type of music where you can have a story unfold, because their music is usually radio/streaming friendly 3 minute something bops.

black magic, hair, DNA etc aren't good videos and they all have the similar "we wanna make it seem like a movie/drama/story vibe", they live in an echo chamber where everyone around them tells them its good.

it absolutely shocks me that they can have a video like sweet melody, see the absolute acclaim it got from everyone and still go down the route of this corny storytelling. i know we haven't seen the video yet so it's not right to judge but we know how it's gonna go.

the girls like Meghan though, that's my point, they would see it as something amazing when in 2016 having meghan on a song would have been awful and does nothing for them. chloe x halle / normani wouldn't improve their fanbase but it would help put CXH/Normani a lot and also give us a genuinely good song/visual.

Doomsday Diva!

Give it a chance, they mentioned there's dancers in the vid so you might be surprised

Whaaat. 'Black Magic' is a great video (minus the fart bit lmao) and 'Hair' is probably their most rewatchable video for me. It's just pure fun and likeable! I actually have a soft spot for 'DNA' too. I think it's really well done.

So... sorry jsweetxe a HARD disagree from me on that :P

I need to try and remind myself that we've had them for 10 years, anything we get is amazing considering girl groups never last this long!

The concept isn't my dream concept, I just hope it's executed well to be enjoyable! I'm excited and hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Black Magic and Hair are such fab videos??? They don’t even seem cheap like a lot of their others as well

Agreee 100% on this!

The Confetti video hasn’t even dropped yet, why do people need to be so negative!

Hm... They might not be my favourites but Black Magic and Hair have over 800M and 400M respectively so I’d say they worked out pretty well? Also Love Me Like You is one of their very best videos. Hair’s views are particularly impressive seeing as it was a local fourth single.

It's crazy just how strong and passionate their fanbase still is all these years later! Usually it's clear to see when a band was "fizzling" out and we definitely felt closest in 2019, but then they delivered the 'Confetti' era and it's like we're somewhere similar with their debut era again. Mad!

(Oh and in terms of where I'd rank each era in terms of popularity - just personal ofc)

They'll never top:

01. Glory Days

The career saver:

02. Get Weird

Big eras:

03. DNA

04. Confetti

Middling to big era:

05. Salute

Probably would be closer to 'Salute' if the era wasn't such a mess:

06. LM5

(if you wanna include it..)

Erm.. yeah

07. Whatever you wanna class 2019 as

But not a single one has been "disastrous" (I'm not sure I class 2019 as an "era" tbh) to the levels other pop groups and other artists of their ilk seem to dip to. Amazing stuff. (Feel free to rank how you see the eras)

1.Glory Days

2.Get Weird

3.Confetti

4.DNA

5.LM5

6.Salute
