The first verse is so bizzare to hear, but it works. Love 'Saweetie's' verse and the beefed up instrumental is very nice. An improvement.

I haven’t heard this and will hold off until tomorrow.

 

Hopefully it’s a hit for them, not my favourite song but it’d be nice to see them get another hit.

Hopefully the reason they've not announced the video coming out on release day is because they realise it goes without saying in 2021 and it's standard behaviour.

The track in its original form was already so loved by the group, which made it a perfect fit for this new life. “We love the song ‘Confetti,’ it’s always been one of our favorites and we know from socials that the fans love it too!” Perrie Edwards says.

 

“It felt right to do an updated version of the song and give it a moment!” Jade Thirlwall adds. “We then got Saweetie, who we love, on it to add some extra flavor.” And it wouldn’t be complete without a video — which they’ve already shot. “We really feel it might be one of our best videos ever. “I think it’s nice to have that little bridge after you’ve released an album to switch things up a little bit.”

This isn't surprising. They rarely add remixes to this or HHUK if they've appeared on there before - which is the only reason why I'm concerned about it being chosen as the next single to follow up a number 1 with.. :( I think unless the artist is a massive international star (example: The Weeknd feat. Ariana last week) then it's pretty much DOA in terms of playlisting. So unless they've managed to work out a deal of some sort with Spotify, then I can't see it making a dent on the playlists it needs 😭😭

Exciting! Hope we get some more original collabs after David (i.e. not someone being added to theirs). I'd kinda be here for a collaborations project tbh. Ik that may seem like an unpopular opinion, but I wouldn't mind it.

Yeah; hopefully it gets a space on NMF U.K. I'm mostly worried HHUK won't re-add it though, they even took 3 weeks to add Think About Us' remix and that hadn't even been playlisted before.
