Better best forgotten for me should always be included.

Agreed. After the love is gone I completely understand if it was to be replaced

My show was tonight (5th November - Birmingham!). The first concert I've been to since November 2019 :o

What a fabulous concert  That set list is pretty relentless... so many hits, so much boppery! The staging was somewhat more stripped back compared to the Party on the Dancefloor tour, but it was effective, very colourful.

It was Lisa's birthday show :o It was a funny moment when she started chatting to the crowd and asking us if we'd sing her a happy birthday. Unbeknownst to her, the rest of Steps had planned to ask the crowd to do that for her later on in the show - so she kind of spoiled her own surprise! That's so Lisa! However she did get a surprise later on - there was a video message from her husband and kids, just before Heartbeat. Emotional!

There was also a lovely moment from H (which I guess he'll say at every show) talking about being your authentic self and his struggles/self-acceptance. I loved his outfits tonight. He was really living his best life!

A few comments about the songs:

The 5,6,7,8 / Groove Is in the Heart mash-up worked for me, it's nice that they like to do something different with it and have fun with it.

I actually really liked the Motown flavoured After the Love Has Gone, it fitted it well!

Something in Your Eyes and The Slightest Touch went all the way off, amazing!

Interestingly Say You'll Be Mine went down really well with the audience, such a good atmosphere. For a song that doesn't seem so popular with the fan base, it seems for that audience it's one of their greatest hits!

Chain Reaction with the drumming was a moment, quite the spectacle and they were clearly having so much fun with it.

Heartbeat was touching - the arrangement made it come across more emotional than ever before. In previous shows I think they always wanted to make When I Said Goodbye a moment but the audiences would always drift off a bit for that one - but I didn't sense that with Heartbeat, thankfully.

Better the Devil You Know/Vogue... one word: yaaaas!

Here and Now was an interesting choice to begin the encore, on paper it's not one of their biggest and best, but it totally worked and I loved the remix they used.

Scared of the Dark... at this point I consider it classic Steps, an incredible performance.

Honestly I could have just said every song was a highlight, there were no real "meh" moments for me. I think the only thing that could have improved it for me would have been a performance of To the Beat of My Heart.

It was such a party atmosphere! I'm so glad to have been to a show again after so long, and in my book you don't get much better than Steps, so what a great introduction back to live shows. I really hope there's going to be a DVD/Blu-Ray because I definitely want to relive it again.

Last but not least, I got to see my amazing friend Jamesy

It was so good to see you again <3

Also, post this in the review thread hun ;)

Sophie’s set list:

Take Me Home

Get Over You

Lady (Hear me Tonight) / Groovejet / Sing It Back

Crying At The Discotheque

Like A Prayer

Murder On The Dancefloor

Good set list from sophie and great choice of support act.

It really was - Steps really pick some amazing warm up acts!

Agreed. They make amazing use of their stage as well - unlike JLS who sacked off their B-Stage and basically have nothing but a couple of blocks on the main stage with them the whole time.
