April 15, 20214 yr If Gypsy is "just noise" what do you consider songs such as Swine, MANiCURE, Donatella, Jewels n Drugs et al to be :rofl: These could not even be called songs. MANiCURE is "decent" and could have a chance on the radio if she hadn't destroyed the version of the iTunes festival and put that shitty version on the album – Adele agrees with me here – same for Sex Dreams. The only change she made that resulted in anything better was Dope, which's a pearl.

Do What U Want > Push through with a proper release. At the time I believe it would have been a massive hit for her. Obviously in hindsight it's best that it only did what it did though. < 03. April 18, 20214 yr 'Applause' isn't as bad a lead single choice as people think it is tbh. Sure, it's not a perfect song, but it was a decent success that is tarnered coz the whole era turned into a mess with releases so I think people put the blame on that as the "wrong lead single", but I disagree. The roll out of the follow up singles is what hurt the campaign imo. 'Applause' wasn't era destroying, but it should have been followed up with a swift and smooth roll-out for the follow up singles, imo.
