If steps were to release physical singles for future releases they would be great to add to our collections, but what price do you think would be reasonable for them to charge,.?

The £2 cd singles recently released by some artists were very good value. £5 for vinyl single would be an attractive price to encourage people to buy them.
If people are to buy into them again the price will be a big factor, i was always a huge fan of singles especially if i was getting a new b side and i would easily buy singles again if they released and affordable.

Depends!

If it’s a ‘regular’ release I’m fine with 2 pounds but a special box (like TOTD) costing more is fine by me.

I really liked the TOTD singles release and would like that again, I was sure tgey would do it with WTFH aswell, a singles boost from both albums I would have liked.
I would have loved a WTFH set from both albums  And I wouldn’t mind paying some extra money.

I would have loved it too.

I don’t think they’ve been quite as *on it* for the WTFH singles as they were for the TOTD ones.

That being said, they’ve still gone way over and above anything I expected and they still put Spice Girls to shame.

Haha true.

Could it be a record label thing? As the TOTD ones were independent weren’t they?

I'd say it could be record label decision but I'd be surprised if bmg don't cotton on to the fact that vinyl singles have big potential. Bmg are usually very good at taking advantage of the physical market.

Good point, BMG are usually pretty good with that type of thing. We did get plenty of options for the Platinum Collection and WTFH pt2

They went all out on both those releases with physicals so hopefully the next album is the same along with some physicals singles. I think this year will see a few more artists release vinyl singles to test the water which may open up something for Steps whenever they make their return.
I was expecting a singles boxset from both WTFH eras, it's a shame they didn't do it. I believe a fan asked Faye during one of the signings and she was a bit "what the hell" about it so don't think it was on any of their radars tbh.

I had a photo that I took of my collection at the time (December 28, 2001). I remember as that’s the day I heard Steps had split. I’m not sure if I even still have the photo, I’ll need to try and track in down.
Thanks Hazelnuts, I’ll need to see if I can track the photo down. It’ll be in a cupboard full of old photos if I still have it.

Ugh, all of my special editions got canceled.

Instead I got the WTFH pt2, Tears on the dancefloor (deluxe) and Party on the dancefloor cd’s.
