May 22, 20214 yr I think Kita must win the whole thing tbh, if Art really does get no wins they can't really crown a queen who was outright eliminated at one point and had to be brought back on a whim for no particular reason. Scarlet they just cannot crown, that would tank this arm of the franchise and leave a dark cloud over Drag Race as a whole. Karen I just can't see, she's been wobbly at best for 3 out of 4 challenges now, arguably deserved bottom 2 last week and was very lucky not to be there for Snatch Game. Of course it depends how she does for the rest of it, but that's a performance challenge, a comedy challenge and a look challenge she's tanked in now. I could see Kita with her rumoured one bottom 2 (either for the branding challenge or whatever is after), then a few highs and she would have to win at that point really. I guess if Art is like high on EVERYTHING from now, maaaaybe, but I think that would kind of come across as if they just planned her winning from the start no matter what happened. Bringing her back like that without a challenge to return or a vote from the queens, any kind of illusion of fairness, and then her winning despite not winning a challenge, I feel like it would just be rigga morris, as great as Art is. I guess Yvie won on just a shared win and loads of highs.

Knowing she gets another win after that is kinda hard to swallow, why do I feel like they might try and give her a redemption arc storyline? :drama:

May 22, 20214 yr That's what I feared! I wouldn't mind if she seemed apologetic about it, Karen From Finance for example while I'm still not a huge fan, seems sorry and appears to understand what she did, but Scarlet's social media apology pre-season just was not it. And she'll never learn if she still does well or even wins here. Australia still has a LOT of problems with racism but it really should have no place on a show like Drag Race.

May 30, 20214 yr It's either another Scarlet win (then Kita wins after) or Art wins the next two, Kita and either Maxi or Elektra in the bottom with the other of those two being sent home by Scarlet the week after. There's two sources who have been about equally reliable but also got other things wrong, so basically yeah either Scarlet or Art, if Art wins this one we can expect her to win the next challenge too and thus the whole season.
June 3, 20214 yr Next week is a talent show which Kita wins - apparently she is safe this week for makeover so she will be one of the few contestants to never place below safe in a season! Envy, Bianca, Scarlett Bobo and DeLa (AS3) are the only ones to do that I believe. Wild given she was first out in all the early tea and now she looks likely to win since they surely can't crown Scarlet and Art has no wins with this tea.
June 4, 20214 yr Yep it seems so :( The makeover is always one of those where the judging is questionable and the criteria is unclear, we've had that all season but it's gonna leave such a bad taste in addition to that basically rewarding Scarlet after highlighting her behaviour the episode prior.

She might not have explicitly stood out every single week but she's not had a single bad week, wins at the right time going into the final with momentum and generally has been really likeable and a consistent funny and charming presence, particularly in confessionals.
