worst song of there year and Miley even makes it sink lower
I liked WITHOUT YOU at the start of the year but a bit bored of it now, the Miley remix isn't an improvement on the original either.
It's great to see Without You climb so much this week, it's such a great song

Biography

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin once joked that the two biggest challenges in his life were trying to follow Radiohead and trying to follow Brad Pitt. The Pitt reference was personal, of course—Martin had been married to Pitt’s former fiancée Gwyneth Paltrow—but his self-assessment still felt remarkably apt: Coldplay isn’t just one of the most popular bands in the world, but also torchbearers for a kind of mainstream art-rock whose roots reach back through Radiohead, U2, Pink Floyd and even The Beatles. Yes, the music is anthemic enough to fill arenas—“Clocks”, “Speed of Sound”, “Paradise”, “A Sky Full of Stars”—but detailed and atmospheric, too, stretching the conventions of modern rock without ever losing the emotional thread.

Formed in London in the mid-’90s, the band debuted with 2000’s Parachutes. Seasons have changed—the arty experiments of 2008’s Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, the electro-rush of 2011’s Mylo Xyloto, the eclecticism of 2019’s Everyday Life—but the core of their sound has been consistent: Propulsive, uplifting, grand but vulnerable. In crowded bars and lonely bedrooms, the effect is more or less the same: At the end of the day, Coldplay came for the heart. - Apple Music

Hope new kid laroi song nope just remix old one

New music is coming soon, I think it's been delayed because WITHOUT YOU has only just peaked in the US with the remix!

Love the new track from Coldplay, expected it higher though.
How are Coldplay so high? It's amazing for a band to be getting for over 20 years and still charting so well.

Shame this didn't make top 10, quite like it for modern Coldplay standards.

Impressive for them to get so close though, Even with a BRITs performance they're very much swimming against the tide in the modern singles chart era.

this has grown on me a bit but I think it's not the strongest comeback

they can do much much better

A bit of a shame Higher Power couldn't make the top ten but pleased that it still gives Coldplay their highest charting single since SJLT anyway, really enjoyed their performance opening the BRITs too!
Why does the backing track to me sound like a mashup of Blinding Lights and Break Up Song?

Biography

Ella Henderson

Bursting on to the scene in 2014, at just 18-years-old Ella Henderson went on to achieve global success with her debut single, ‘Ghost.’ Co-written with Ryan Tedder, the song became the fastest-selling debut single from any British Artist in 2014. That same year, Ella’s debut album, ‘Chapter One,’ (Salaam Remi, Babyface, Steve Mac, TMS) spawned her first Platinum selling album, making her one of only 3 UK artists to break Platinum in 2014. A revered artist, in 2015 Ella received two prestigious BRIT Award nominations for 'Best British Female' and 'Best British Single', rounding off the year with a landmark sell-out UK headline tour, which included two shows at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Following a whirlwind few years, Ella returned to the studio to being work on her next project. During the process she continued to collaborate with some of the biggest names in music, appearing on hits produced by superstar DJ’s Kygo and Sigma. She also returned to the live stage, touring with the likes of Take That, James Arthur and Rudimental, the latter of whom signed her to a new record deal with their label Major Toms/Asylum. For Ella, this marked a brand new start. “I want it to be fresh,” says the 23-year-old. “The industry's changed so drastically since I last released music over four years ago. I want to embrace that. I want to treat everything like it's a clean slate.” - Spotify

Tom Grennan

Tom Bevin Grennan (born 8 June 1995) is a British musician who was born in Bedford, now based in London. I can't unhear that now

poor Lets go home together, stuck again at #11

Imagine if this didn't have that week at #10, would have been most unlucky chart run ever.

I prefer this to Little Bit Of Love now!

Shame to see Ella and Tom stuck outside the top 10 for another week, it is a great song and I'd love for it to return to the top 10.
