A week before the reveal of the One Touch re-release London Recordings released a new version of Siobhan's solo debut. The new edition includes b-sides and new edits of the singles, some of them available in digital now for the first time.

Here is the album on Spotify:

While we wait for the One Touch re-release it is a very good time to revisit this great album, which to me it sounds very much like a successor.

It's nice that they did this - too bad there's not a physical version that's being put out, but then again what can you expect for a #117 album that maybe sold 5k copies in total (if that)?

I would've liked them to go back into the vault though and find some unreleased gems.

Yeah  It's pretty incredible Revolution got this treatment considering other much, much more successful albums get forgotten, but hey, this timeline might not be so bad after all.

Siobhan even mentioned it on social media.

I haven’t got round to listening to this version yet! I’ve struggled to get as into Rev as I have with Ghosts tbh. There’s some great tracks on this though and I’m hype to hear some of the b sides

LOL, to be fair, they just basically compiled the album + the single formats in a playlist. There's nothing "new" on there as such and it doesn't sound like they've remastered it. :kink:

Still, it would be nice to see other labels make these sort of low-level efforts to boost their backcatalog.

With that said, they could've tossed on the alternative edit of Man Without Friends that appeared on promotional cds. It's sort of a terrible attempt to make it more radio friendly, but I guess it would still be nice to have it on an official format.
I am still surprised this was put online; at least to be it seemed like such a surprise. A very nice one though, as I have always loved this album, so it was good to see it getting some extra attention. While it's not as good as Ghosts, it does contain some brilliant songs and is certainly SO incredibly underrated. Man Without Friends is pure bliss.

I don't know all of her material but I've listened to a few tracks and Next Human (XY) I really like. It would sound great by the babes
