Yeah you're most likely right, considering it's the one which has no Sugababes writing credits on it!

The producers of that album:

The Smeezingtons

Fernando Garibay

RedOne

Stargate

Martin Kleveland

Syience

Jonas Jeberg

I find it interesting to look back on the Keisha portion of the Sweet 7 era. I got the impression during the Get Sexy promo that the girls all seemed rejuvenated, eager to succeed and passionate about their direction (Keisha must have been good at masking her true feelings...!). The single going to #2 seemed to indicate that the fan base and the public was appreciating the new sound and image. For a brief moment things seemed really positive with the Sugababes, and that they were on track to have a more successful era than Catfights.

Not that there's much point in wishing things had been different, but nevertheless I wish 3.0 had got as far as releasing About a Girl and the album. I'll always be convinced that About a Girl with Keisha would have been significantly more successful. Oh well :kink:

Keisha was always a pro when it came to marketing their latest album... and by the next campaign or so she'd confess that she actually disliked a lot of the material.

I totally agree that About A Girl with Keisha would've been more successful, Jay! They were long past their peak by that point, but I still think it could've been a decent sized hit. Same with the album, as much as Sweet 7 was so far removed from what Sugababes stood for. I don't think they'd have released Wear My Kiss had Keisha stayed either. Thank You For The Heartbreak (with a single mix) followed by No More You would've maintained at least some of the Sugababes sound (even if their songwriting was notably absent).

I am probably the most optimistic i have been at any time since early 2013. Mutya seems to be in a great place, just look at how much random singing she's doing on insta, Siobhan sounds up for it and keeps talking about other material in the NME interviews. Just need to force Keisha onto a transatlantic flight.

The fact that us fans can be optimistic again. At long last.

I was reminded today of Siobhans “Nah!” And now I really wish that NME had shared the Audio of this
