Doja Cat's is only a promo single, I think the next proper single is her The Weeknd collab.

Ah fair enough, I just checked and she has an album coming on the 25th which features the Weeknd collab as well as ‘need to know’.

It's got a video coming out tomorrow too I think it might be a proper single
Polo G's whole album is out tomorrow, interested to see how much impact it makes here. There's also a new Migos album coming out which has Drake and Bieber features among others (Drake is on track 2 on the album and I'd guess that's likely to be the one on NMF so may repeat the feat of 'Walk It Talk It' of charting higher than most of their actual singles even just as an album track).

These two albums have 39 tracks between them. The Billboard top 100 released in 10 days time will be ruthless for sending several tracks to recurrency oblivion. :w00t:

 tbh I'm not sure Migos are really relevant enough any more to land that many of their songs on the Hot 100 (even from their last album they 'only' charted 13 out of 24 songs including the singles if I am counting correctly), I expect Polo will chart most if not all of his though.

'Blinding Lights' I'm sure will continue to survive anyway - it survived two weeks in a row of album bombs that landed their entire tracklists in the top 40 *_*

True - tbh only really Tate McRae and Ariana Grande x 2 were cut short by a likely few weeks by the J Cole album bomb but the latter is no stranger to album bombs herself.

Polo G's album not considered to be enough of an event in the UK for Spotify to even put him in the top 20 of New Music Friday. Oof. x (The song with The Kid LAROI and Lil Durk is on there as track 21).

Cool to see Lorde getting track 1 and the cover, no idea what to expect from it chartwise though.

Looking back at her last lead single - ‘Greenlight’ only peaked at number 20 which is a joke considering how big it still is for me anyway.
'Green Light' would have debuted at #15 if the three track rule existed at the time  it was released the same week as Ed Sheeran's album so somewhat inevitably got a bit lost. But yeah, she had very limited impact on the singles chart for the rest of the 'Melodrama' era (and even the album seemed to do surprisingly poorly considering the amount of hype and critical acclaim it had, eternally triggered that it debuted below a bloody Nickelback album) so I don't necessarily expect much commercially from this new era but I hope I'm wrong ~
Lorde-Solar power added to HH!

I don’t get the lack of Lorde’s commercial success? She is so unique and bloody amazing! To hear her debut charted behind a Nickleback album makes me realise what a joke the public can be with music at times :D

Wonder if her album will do well on the first week this time?

Ugh didn’t realise ‘Green Light’ came out that week. Let’s hope the hype of her comeback can push ‘Solar Power’ as a high new entry or climber in the coming weeks.

I bet Olivia Rodrigo good 4 u still number 1 next Friday

Most likely, still think it will be number for a good few weeks at least, maybe till the week Ed Sheeran releases, although hopefully it’s better than the snooze fest that was afterglow <_<
