Halsey has announced her upcoming fourth album "If I Can't Have Love I Want Power" via billboards! It will be produced by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, and the signs are pointing towards it being a pop-punk based album!

Exciting! If it’s anything like Nightmare I’ll be very happy :D
Omg this is so exciting! I loved Manic and of course Nightmare and think she could really make this a really exciting album. I wonder if she will just drop the whole album?! I don't know if she's in a position of star power to do that but it'd be exciting!
Dropping the tracklist and artwork on July 7th. I was low key expecting the whole album tomorrow!

13 tracks!

I love the artwork :cheeseblock: Tho I'm low-key screaming & living for how extra the 15 min video of her walking around a museum to reveal the artwork was tho, I love her

Lmao she is doing the MOST with this reveal. I low key think she thinks she's bigger than she actually is sometimes ☠️ We love confidence though!

She looks like she's come in from a long day's work on her album cover lmao.

"Easier Than Lying" preview. It really seems like we're not getting a single before the album now, which is certainly an interesting choice!

Yeah I can't see it doing well at all but seems to be something for the fans - there's even a cinema release of a film she's done for the album which is interesting!
I went to see her movie tonight and it was such a great experience, the visuals were astonishing and the storyline was pretty decent. She is definetly one of the most creative artists out there right now! The album tracks showcased a lot of variety and not just one style which I was worried about - really hyped to hear the whole thing now!

I can't wait to listen!

There are a couple of uncredited contributions apparently from Dave Grohl on drums in "Honey" and Lindsey Buckingham on guitar in "Lilith"!

And apparently there's a Reznor/Ross remix of "Nightmare" on the Walmart exclusive deluxe! So hopefully that one makes it's way to streaming in the future

Interesting change of direction, there are some chill ones and some rock and they fit in the tracklist, but somewhat not memorable at the same time (at least for now). Having that said, it's more enjoyable than the last two albums. It's almost like her own take on 'folklore' and 'evermore'.

'Easier than Lying', 'Girl is a Gun' and 'I am not a woman...' are early standouts.

BADLANDS still her best though...

I’m really liking the sound of ‘I am not a woman, I’m a god’ it really gripped me lyrically and I was not expecting that production, wow. I’ll make sure to give the whole album a go, I was a big fan in the ‘Badlands’ era so I’m hoping this project will get me back on board with their music.
Such a strong album! Varied production, striking and interesting lyrics and such a gorgeous overall album. Probably her best I'd go as far to say, really hope this is well received and "I am not a woman..." Is magnificent!
