That must be the highest daily Spotify streams for a non-Christmas song ever? (I think 'Shape Of You' had the record before with 1.32 million). Crazy, and that's with us losing which will have no doubt killed its momentum significantly in the final couple of hours of the day, could have easily been a few hundred thousand higher if we had actually won.

 

Now the question is how much will it fall off a cliff tomorrow :lol: it did hang on as high as #52 the day after we lost the semi-final in 2018 so I don't think it'll completely vanish for another couple of days.

I wouldn't rule out 'Three Lions' still sticking around in the top 5 this week, the main version has had 2.47 million streams in 3 days compared to doing 2.82 million for the whole week last week (and it will close a lot of that gap with 4 more days of streams even if it will obviously be falling off a lot). Think it's likely that it's had a similar number if not more downloads in these 3 days than all of last week as well.

Looking back, 'Three Lions' actually surprisingly stayed in the top 200 for several days after our elimination in 2018 - although that was of course while the tournament as a whole was still ongoing (and England still had the 3rd place playoff to 'look forward' to lol) which may have helped it to stay a little more stable.
