On Spotify, all of the Dave tracks end the week top 50 apart from one (Survivor’s guilt at #51), pretty impressive for a whole week! ‘Stay’ hits 500k for the first time and actually is only 54k behind Ed, potentially a #1 contender once Ed’s numbers start to drop?

 

Elsewhere, new Dermot Kennedy enters at #149 (forgot this actually came out on Wednesday) plus was added to HH today so expect that to climb tomorrow. Industry Baby also up another place to #9 and nearing 300k.

Billie's Apple support is so bad for her...nothing in hot songs and nothing new on Today's Hits (not even the new single?). They're probably a bit salty that she has a big Spotify deal.

 

She's doing well on there regardless but I expect a much bigger Spotify impact.

I thought the same, she’s only track #4 on their New Music Daily playlist as well (below a Mabel cover) with just the one song on there, and the only song that’s really on big playlists is NDA with not great placing. She has a banner on the homepage but it’s like the 4th one you scroll along to

As much as the hype maybe wasn’t as big as most were expecting, it is quite weird to see so little for a big sophomore album from one of the biggest acts of the last few years

Clean Bandit not even top 150 on Apple Music yet, it’s had nowhere near the instant support their other singles have had 8 just want symphony part 2 rather than rent a rapper

Yeah, the album will clearly still do big numbers regardless so Apple is a bit odd!

I take it Skepta has an album out as there's a few tracks of his showing up in the top 200 (cos apparently he's still relevant).

 

The highest track is Nirvana (with J Balvin) at #64

It's just an EP but yeah. Actually now that I think about it I have just remembered that he "retired" earlier this year - just the latest in a long line of rappers announcing their retirement before almost invariably U-turning and dropping new material not long afterwards :lol:

Yeah given the lack of support and apparent lack of hype it's done really well on Apple I think? All are top 100 - I expected all the songs to debut top 50 on Spotify though.
Dave still has 11 tracks top 40 on Apple Music compared to Billie’s 5. I think Dave’s 2nd week numbers are going to be really strong overall and might end the week with bigger streaming numbers than Billie but the pure sales should get her the #1 officially
