Posted July 10, 20214 yr Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information. If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. July 10, 20214 yr Really good to see Coldplay avoid, I thought that was certain to go this week! Chart will look a bit fresher now with Navos, noizu and Harry styles all going to acr, can’t argue with any of them they have all had their run now.
July 10, 20214 yr Glad for most of those to be going to ACR especially Harry Styles and Navos going back again. Noizu feels a bit premature but I didn't realise it already had 8 weeks top 40 and is well below its peak, feels relatively fresh compared to the others.

July 10, 20214 yr Ooh at 'Higher Power' managing to swerve ACR - that has really had quite an impressively consistent chart run, even if never quite taking off to be a huge hit, still impressive for an act who have been around as long as them though. On a similar note, I kind of forgot 'Beautiful Mistakes' was still in the top 100 let alone that it swerved ACR again last week - that's quietly racked up a pretty lengthy top 100 run without ever blowing up properly (17 weeks in the top 100 right now, not quite 'Martin & Gina' levels yet but still quite a few for a non top 40 hit). I actually wouldn't have minded that becoming a proper hit although also not massively complaining that it wasn't :kink:
July 10, 20214 yr Will good 4u stay on acr or get replace another album track Tough one to call, with the numbers it’s doing just now it will still have high enough streams to be one of her 3 highest album tracks even on acr. Just depends how much it drops afterwards.
July 10, 20214 yr It'll still be her highest song even on ACR, it has well over double the weekly sales of 'traitor'! I think 'traitor' may be replaced by a different album track when it goes to ACR though.
